    Look into a street and see some bum walking by all the gentleman and ladies in awesome suits...and than the end of the world comes and it turns out the bum was our GOD!

    It's worth talking about the term "supermodel" for a moment.

    Nowadays, every second girl who shows off clothes on a catwalk is labelled a "supermodel". There don't seem to be any models any more - just supermodels.

    Originally, there were only around 4 or 5 "supermodels" - back in the 80s. These were the women at the absolute top of the modelling profession, who would be asked to fly from Paris to London to New York to Sydney. They were the first models to have their names attached to cosmetics.

    Christy Brinkley was one of the first "supermodels". Others were Elle MacPherson, Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell.

    This YouTube clip has some of her scenes from Vacation. It effectively shows how attractive she was. It also shows that she wasn't/isn't much of an actress. And how awful that movie was. I still remember going and seeing it at the theater back in '83. It wouldn't have seemed so bad, but I had read the original story by John Hughes, which was far better.

    Is she conservative? Who knows, who cares? She doesn't seem too bright, so any opinions she might have aren't too important to me.

    well, she's been married 4x and has 3 kids by 3 different fathers. If she wasn't a model, I think she'd be trailer trash.

    But she had her looks as an asset and she made the most of it. Very smart.
