The sun does exist, even speaking metaphorically dragon I don't see how you could surmise it doesn't. One can say things like "the sun warms the hearts of those seeking it's view" or "warming gentleness comes only from that sun which bore us into existence." It's like freedom you can see but cannot touch and experience. Being alone in a room thinking of everything there was with me and just feeling the emptiness of future.
