I still listen to The Smiths and enjoy their music-a lot.
Green day are ok, but nothing exceptional.
Now Bon Jovi, I really hate them !

    For me, the 80's were;

    Slayer
    Metallica
    Megadeth
    Exodus
    Venom
    Voi Vod
    Anthrax
    Bathory
    Celtic Frost
    Onslaught
    DRI
    Nuclear Assault
    Metal Church

None of your hanky waving new romantic stuff. I was, and still am, Heavy Metal. ;-)

I wasn't even born then. But I have to say Back In Black, Owner of a Lonely Heart and Smooth Criminal are memorable.
Oh, and I can't remember when Iron Man came out, but it was okay. Along with Teen spirit(was that the 90s?)

1991, anda breath of fresh air it was too, the music scene needed a kick up the butt, as everything was a bit stale before then.

"Iron Man" is one of Black Sabbath's signature tunes, from their second album, 1970's "Paranoid." Sir Mix-A-Lot covered it in 1988, and the Cardigans did so in 1996.

"Smells like Teen Spirit" was one of the first hits that defined the Grunge movement, from Nirvana's 1991 debut album, "Nevermind."
