so is there an unseen force that program us to mix with other ethnicities?
just because the current rhetoric holds as an ideal, the human race as one,
how does that translate to actual reality? do we not still hang out with our own according to each persons comfort level? is big brother choosing my mate so he can implement the nefarious and evil "race of tan"?. who the hell is breeding us into conformity? if one cannot maintain an unique sense of identity as an individual, you would be as a mindless drone and probably deserve such a state of being

i cannot understand why anyone can have an issue with a statement such as "my race is the human race". in scientific terms, it is meaningless. humans
are a species which in turn is divided into races and then ethnicities. although i understand what the statement is trying to convey (and do not disagree with), it appears to be nothing but a slogan.

my beef here is that too many ethnic groups segregate themselves. (this diminshes the pool of potential one night stands in my case)

so bring forth the "oneness" slogans folks

    eat this

We are the birds of the same nest,
    We may wear different skins,
    We may speak different languages,
We may believe in different religions,
We may belong to different cultures,
Yet we share the same home - OUR EARTH.

    Born on the same planet
    Covered by the same skies
    Gazing at the same stars
    Breathing the same air
We must learn to happily progress together
    Or miserably perish together,
    For man can live individually,
    But can survive only collectively

    Teri,

I understand how things must be in Australia since we have virtually the same situation here in Canada. The Aboriginal population here has been treated horribly as well, and, for the most part, still live on reservations that were chosen by the government from the least productive lands in the country. Hopefully one day the warmongers and the powermongers will get their sorry butts kicked out of power so a legitimate society can emerge on this planet.

Canadian, eh ? It's no wonder you so vehemently bash Americans.

You mean like the dictatorship you have in Canada ?
