SAM 41,709 posts from 02-25-06, do the research yourself, I have been on the forum since 04-03-06, and have read her post on the World and Political Forums since then, so start reading. Not just ONE, but Thousands..
You're asking a republican for evidence? This is a self proclaimed tolerant Christian who killed innocent people in Vietnam for being communists. Like the nazis, he was only following orders. This from a guy who supports Guantanamo, defends Haditha and Fallujah and the gang rape and murder of a 14 year old by US troops. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Why has he not voted? Where [ENC]Buffalo Roam[/ENC], bullshit follows.
Well the typical SAM, again read her posts, 41,710 of them, pattern will reveal it's self, she has never criticized any action taken by Islam, or Islamic Terrorist. Only the Unbeliever, is to be questioned as to his motives, and I am proud not to be a Moslem Believer, so I am fair game for her diatribes. Never killed any one who wasn't armed and intent on killing me. I, unlike SAM, followed my beliefs, and supported what I believed, God, Family, and Country, I didn't stay safe at home and criticized, safe in my Daddy's house.
Yeah, like the nazis. Of course, you invade a man's country and he's likely to meet you with a gun. What a surprise! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Bet history would have been different if they had stayed home. And idiots had NOT followed their "god" and country [or fatherland]. Where is your vote?
Let me change that. It seems to me that not being critical here in this forum is not the same as supporting.
My vote is my life, what is your vote? all mouth, no action, safely ensconced at daddy's home, you won't even defend your religion with action, I thought the Quran demands that you defend the Ummah when infidels are on it's lands, no you just run your mouth, your afraid that you might get hurt and have to bleed. Yes SAM, what have you done to back your Mouth and Religion, go to school, in America, because you couldn't go to school in India, and then run back to home to live with Daddy?
SAM, I did all you have done is sit on your ass, coward, you don't even have the courage of faith, in your religion.
The Army don't really train to that standard as much as we in the Marines do. But Buffalo, if you think medics don't carry weapons, you're dead wrong. If they're in a combat zone, they're armed. Last year all our docs had more weapons then us. We all carried M16A2s when I deployed last year, they carried M4's and M9's. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Yes, it should be, read the World and Politics forums and you can find them, why should I have to do the work? Do the research and prove my assessment wrong. I have already read way to much of her diatribes.
Hell I'm a ex-platoon daddy, I know what medic carry and do, but it is also a option that if you are a conscientious objector, that you can become a medic, and not have to carry a weapon, I knew two of them in Vietnam, outstanding individuals, put both of them in for Stars. Time after time I watched them do their job, always there, and alway doing. Had a good weekend went to the Wall, and found out that a friend who I though was killed in Vietnam survived. I have all the names, and have the whole story now, still miss those that didn't make it, still pray for them and their souls. War is a Bitch.
If Jim thinks his only two choices for understanding the world and taking action are listed in this poll, his head is inside a plastic bubble that doesn't allow much information to pass through. I guess that makes Jim kind of average. But, at Sciforums I was expecting to find more sophistication, what with all of the fancy book learning and DIY channel watching you folks do. Unless this poll is some sort of psychology survey of what we think the average person would do, I don't like the questions. It's not a complete poll. Is it possible that Jim knows about the class structure of society, belongs to a labor union, has ever read a leftist leaflet, or is Jim just some all-American Boy Scout who enjoyed wood shop in high school?
Considering other members here were able to find gray areas, I'm not sure why you're having so much difficulty. Not going to war or going to war doesn't mean just sitting in his couch watching the Simpsons all day vs shipping out asap, he could be protester, he could come from a military family, he could be a student; you're allowed to think the best of him or the worst of him. The question is meant to point to the occasional conflict you can see in real life between the idea of duty and the idea of respecting what the flag stands for. In an ideal situation, everyone seems to side with the latter. But the question is once we bring up specifics, do the people who voted still think the same thing? What's unfortunate is how lopsided the group of people who voted are, they're mostly like me, against the Iraq war and preferring withdrawal. I was hoping to get more input from the members here who think its better for us to stay.
