Sometimes I listen to McCain and I get this feeling like he is not completely sure what's going on around him. It's as if everything is just going to quickly for him to fully get or grasp what's going on. Now, I read on a web post that someone else thought he seemed a little senile - and he's a McCain supporter. So, honestly, does it sometimes seem like McCain may be a little senile? Cheers, Michael
ill bet he can kick your but in poker, senile or not. nevertheless, i still prefer him over Barak H.Obama. but no one beats him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyQ-BMprD_8
McCain is best for the states. Although of course, as a Syrian I support Obama, as an American I support McCain.
I think misspelling words is a bit different to: For the second time in two days, John McCain has referred to current events in “Czechoslovakia” – a country that officially ceased to exist in January of 1993. “And I regret some of the recent behavior Russia that has exhibited, and I’ll be glad to talk about that later on including reduction in oil supplies to Czechoslovakia after they agreed with us on a missile defense system, etcetera,” said the presumptive Republican nominee at a New Mexico town hall Tuesday. But hey, even if he doesn't know how to use a computer, at least he is aware of the internet. Maybe someone can bring up some up to date geography maps for him while he watches the internet so that he can learn what country is still a country and what is not before he makes a decision about international relations. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Is he going senile? Maybe. Is he somehow slow off the mark to grasp onto things? Could be. Are these important factors in being able to lead a nation? You tell me.
Alot of people still refer to the Czech Republic as Czechoslavia. It's just a catchier namePlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
when itzhak rabin was murdered i think half of the foreign ministers confused him with shimon peres. are they senile? im sure half of the people here used the term Czechoslovakia more then once in recent times. and if not Czechoslovakia then another term. are they senile? or human?
Mr spock i think you miss understod the reason his name was underlined. it wasnt to point out a spelling mestake it was because ITS A LINK to this http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/07/16/mccain-again-cites-current-events-in-czechoslovakia/
Oh he can be as senile and as "human" as he is and wants to be. But if there is a minute risk that some of his decisions are based on his being "human" and it is wrong, is it a risk worth taking? Yes, I too am sure that many on this forum have used the term "Czechoslovakia" on numerous occasions since it ceased being a state. But none of us are running for President and none of us have the power to affect relations between nations. McCain on the other hand does.
Czechoslovakia, Czech Republic...........what's the difference? They're both really hard to spell. I had an aupair from the Czech Republic and it was really hard to remember to say Czech Republic instead of Czechoslovakia. Why are you foreigners always changing the names of places anyway. It's annoying. Why can't you guys just pick a name and stick with it? Czechoslovakia goes to Czech Republic, Burma goes to Myanmar, Peking to Beijing, Constantinople to Istanbul. St Petersburg to Leningrad to St Petersburg. It just never ends! Don't you guys realize it's hard enough to get us Americans to learn any geography even without this sort of nonsence! Here in the states, we pick a name, and stick with it. I'm glad to see McCain taking a stand against all this frivolous name changing!
Anyone can be forgetful at any age. Many people stumble on words or can't remember where they put their keys...does that make them impaired?
