I doubt that it would take one hell of a tear jerker movie to shed a tear from Visceral.

I don't know anybody who didn't break with that movie. I watched it first alone and I cried. My b/f came down and called me a crybaby. I told my Bf to watch it with me next time.
He said ohh this is going to be a chick flick, but I made him watch it. He tried hard not to lose it but I saw the tears and the sniffles.... Then I said I told you it was a tear jerker. Then he said "Oh man that was sad" lol

I hate that movie. It's my dad's fave. I remember having to watch it as a kid.

"The Lion King" comes to mind.

"Kazaam" also comes to mind. It's just heartbreaking how horrible a movie actually be.

    I loved that movie. Passionately.

Having a parent die when I was 11 years old, and witnessing that death, had a similar effect one me. I spent ten years wandering and doing nothing. Blaming myself to a degree. It took the intervention of one person, my brother, that eventually set me right.

Not a perfect parallel, but still impactful nonetheless.

Ah, I can see why then.
    Apologies.

Well, I wasn't exactly looking for an apology (it's the internet: you're allowed to make assumptions). Just thought I'd rationalize my taste a bit.

I thought "Philadelphia" was also pretty sad. I thought that "The Passion of the Christ" was heartbreaking. It also made me gag a few times. Too graphic for my taste. Also, "Shindler's List" was horrific (in a provocative way). Very heartbreaking. The "little girl in the red dress" was really quite effective.

"The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford"

Very emotional movie that draws you in and makes you feel like one of the characters at times, rather than a viewer. Epic movie!!

And a whiny attention seeking crybaby. And no, I don't have PMS.

The ending to Terms of Endearment was really sad

I think there are some more, but I don't remember at this moment.

The KKHH (Kuch Kuch Hota Hai) is a simple movie but it extremely breaks my
    heart (oh please

). It's about a naive tomboy girl (Anjali) who falls in love
with her own best friend (Raul), but that friend loves another girl (Tina). She
(Anjali) did not know that Raul likes another girl, but one day under the rain
(ouch) suddenly Raul said she loves her. She was surprised and happy but
then the guy told her, he was just practicing to say 'I love you' with her, so
that he can say it well to another girl (wtf :bawl

. It was kinda first love for
Anjali so her heart was completely broken and she decided to go home (out
    of town).

Well, in train station, as she departs, Raul try to stop her, he didn't understand
why his girl buddy wants to go home. At that moment, the other girl (Tina)
was also accompanying Raul to the train station. As she saw the look on
Anjali face, she understands that her heart is broken by that guy.

Long story, Tina and Raul are happily married and got one daughter, but Tina
then ill. Before she died, she told her daughter (who she named also Anjali)
to look for the other Anjali, the long time best friend of her father, so that
she (that other Anjali) can be with them. Oh, just by writing this again I feel
so sad :bawl: Long story blablabla the little Anjali found the big Anjali who
has become a kindergarten teacher. So the little Anjali decided to join the
summer camp which is managed by the big Anjali. Then when her father pick
her up at summer camp, he meets his long time girl buddy. There was this
slow motion where her father who is wearing long black coat running accross
the bridge, but then drop his bag in confusion. He was so speechless to meet
again his missing friend, especially now that the naive tomboy girl has become
some kind of feminine lady with long hair, BUT unfortunately she is already
engaged to another guy. On the day she is marriage, he and his little Anjali
come to visit the wedding. He was nearly cried seeing the girl is married to
other man, and so does the bride, she can't stand not to cry. The male bride
saw that and he decided to give up the marriage so that his bride can be
with the guy whom she loved. Oh man!!!! :bawl:
