It means you are dying. Sorry to be the one to tell you. Honestly, interpeting the dreams of others is a fairly ridiculous notion, unless you know them quite well, and even then sketchy at best. Dreams are nothing more than our semi-conscious mind trying to make sense of the random impulses in our brains during REM sleep. If you remember your dreams, all it says is that you had a fitful, light or uncomfortable sleep and drifted past the unconscious stage into almost waking. For others to claim to know what your dreams mean, they would be claiming to know your subconscious mind - absurd. Sure, there are a few general things that can be gleaned here and there, but the devil is in the details. I'm sorry that you're dying, by the way. You seem nice enough.
I would never say that I completely understand his dreams, but I do find it quite fun to make theories about them. And of course he's dying, he's human isn't he? Aren't we all dying?
If you are analysing a dream, understand that any character in a dream may be yourself, sometimes in a guise that you are denying. A character that you are afraid of may be conveying a message that is important to you but you don't want to hear.
I had one last night, where I was looking for ghosts in this old house, and I saw a pair of translucent human legs walking up the stairs, but the rest of the body was gone, I panicked and ran. Then I dreamed that a horribly mutated half-human was holding someone hostage in the house, using its mind powers to mess with the guy's internal organs. I went looking for it, hoping to stab it or otherwise kill it and save him, but I went into all the rooms and couldn't find it or its victim.
Interpreting your dreams is something you can only manage successfully yourself. I remember watching a particularly helpful episode of Frasier on the subject though; it was all about word association. Let me ask you two questions, Shorty: if I mention a restaurant, what's the first image or idea that comes to mind? if I mention Harrison Ford, what's the first image or idea that comes to your mind?
Usually I dream about running with a dog pack. I am going around mountain edges. I have a reoccurring dream about some military men landing behind the hill at the evenings like WW2. But I only think I have looked at TV and no big deal. But might be something more.
Here's another one, this one is somewhat bizarre as well... I was in a building with two rooms, one room had another person in it and some racks along the walls with weapons on them, the other room looked like a friend of mines bedroom, kind of, and there was someone lying in the bed however it was dark and their face wasn't visible. Anyways, during the dream I would walk between the two rooms bringing weapons from the first into the second, the man in the bed would nod his head and I would set the weapons down on the ground and, when I returned, they would be gone, I can only remember two of the weapons, a large cleaver and a yellow chainsaw, on the last trip I had into the room I had just set down the cleaver and looked over in the corner where a dresser had appeared, sitting there, covered by shadows was a little girl, she had ALL the weapons I had brought into the room with her and she lunged at me and jumped towards my face, then I woke up.
She was very short, maybe only 3 feet tall and she was wearing a sort of plaid flannel shirt, she had brown hair she reminded me alot of one of my friends dad's girlfriends young devil children... Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

Not necessarily, I often sleep well, but remember my dreams in detail. It does take a while to remember them though.
Ahh, I forgot about this one, this was about a week and a half ago, maybe 2 weeks anyways: The dream started in a classroom that resembled my morning math class, I looked down and to the side and saw, under a girl I hardly recognized's chair, a bunch of Sci-fi comic books, I searched through them and just as I found one i wanted the bell rang. I rushed towards the hospital wing of the school, which was strange because my school doesn't have anything even resembling a hospital wing. I entered into a large room that was colored with very earthy tones and had a long wavy red couch along the back wall and another in the middle of the room facing the first. Two of my friends (J.F. and J.G.) were sitting together on the middle couch I walked towards them but they didn't seem to notice me and suddenly they leaned in towards each other and kissed J.G. looked up at me as soon as it was over and his face turned white J.F. noticing J.G.'s sudden loss of color turned and saw me she yelled something and began to cry as I fell to the couch on the wall and fainted, having just been cheated on and not having suspected a thing. Then, like my other dream it just ended, I continued sleeping but the dream was over.
