I prefer the Chinese system to the Dalai Lama's. If the Chinese were starving the Tibetans and shooting rubber bullets in their kids' eyes, I would have issues with that. To me, the victim's status is most important. To the average Tibetan, the Chinese occupation is a relief from debt and slavery, its only the monks who were stripped of their power. To the average Palestinian, Israel is cancer. As for Sudan, you should look at these "Arabs" sometime. You'll be surprised. And you can find my arguments on Sudan on sciforums. None of which of course, has anything to do with the fact that Israelis are starving children to the extent of physically and mentally stunting them. You tell that the a Tibetan. Tibetans don't want a return to feudalism there asking to self-determination and freedoms, and yes they are in fact being arrested and prosecuted by the Chinese, even the Dalai Lama has disregarded the Tibetan feudal system and has called for statehood in a free china as the ideal goal. Just because you did not like their old system you can't say on one had the the Palestinians should have self-determination and on the other hand say the Tibetans should not. Or it could be because the Palestinians are poor and poor children tend to be malnourished.
And the Palestinian Government spend most of it's money on weapons and a totally stupid war instead of building a country that can support and feed it's children. It is the Palestinians own fault that they buy weapons to attack Israel and then Israel closes the border. If the Palestinians didn't continue to smuggle weapons in to attack Israel, Israel wouldn't close the border. It is the Palestinians choice and they have two, buy weapons to fight Israel.....Buy food to feed the Children, which makes more sense? Continue a War that every time you shoot at the Israelis, they close the borders and retaliate and you get more children starving and dying? Children Starving-----Stop the War use the money to Feed the Children. It is the Palestinians choice, and they are the ones making the choice.
