Careful how you generalize atheists. How many of us have used that example on SciForums?

The major behavioral differences between Canis lupus lupus and Canis lupus familiaris:
    • Dogs are more social than wolves. In feral conditions they combine into much larger packs.
    • Dogs are multi-species social. They originally self-selected for their acceptance and even enjoyment of human companionship, and now they accept cats, pigs, parrots and a variety of other species into their packs. Wolves have been observed respecting the territorial markings of an individual of a different species, but they rarely accept one into their pack. Wolf cubs have to be socialized with humans within the first few weeks of life or they become virtually impossible to domesticate.
    • Dogs have a very low instance of the alpha instinct, about one in a hundred. Dogs readily accept humans, even immature humans, as pack leaders. So many wolves are alphas that there's at least one in every pack.
    • Most dog breeds are scavengers more than hunters; one of the earliest duties they were trained for was to guard livestock, which requires not eating it. This facilitates their acceptance of other species in their pack. Wolves will scavenge if necessary, but they are hunters by preference.
All of this just has to have a profound effect on a dog's psychology, compared to a wolf's. And therefore on his "morality."

It's all good, I was just getting tired of everyone pointing this out and acting like I'm an idiot for doing it.
