I think that things we are not prepared to know would be very hard to know in the first place. Though, I think knowing something we are not prepared to know would probably lead to insanity.

"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of the infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far."

The final answer is yes. If you fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

If one wishes to know everything, one must prepare for everything, but in that it would take a unsuggestable amount of time.

I prepare myself in science and math. I care not about the social or literature in which bring no advancements to society except new definitions and other ways to possibly deceive man.

After all, the one major thing I learned in Social science what that deception was the key to victory. Sadly.

Womens rights, African Americans, Native Americans, Mexicans and the American Drug War. These are few examples.

    Math and Science FTW!

Backing yourself into a corner like that is foolish. Specialise sure, but don't ignore other fields completely and you have no basis on which you can insult them.

"social or literature" brings "no advancements to society"? That's an ignorant statement.

Frankly, some of the most intelligent people to ever exist studied literature and have advanced our society greatly. Without literature society would be extremely uncultivated and dull.

People who solve social problems have brought some of the greatest contributions to society. They united the states, abolished slavery, formed peace treaties etc.
