And completely ignored the FACT that I had stated that containing alcohol makes no difference whatsoever if treated as any other drink.
The toxicity levels are nowhere near high enough to cause problems in such a case.
And with regard to dehydration, so what?
It's the same as the toxicity: not a factor if taken in the same quantities as other drinks.

ok. so i assume you dont mean drink it like water where you should drink eight glasses (8-12 oz.) of water a day, if you do that with vodka you would be heavily intoxicated.

All I can say is moderation is KEY...something I have yet to figure out.

Everytime I get drunk or blacked out wasted I hurt myself or others; for ex: I went river floating, got drunk, fell on some rocks, busted my hip, got into a car accident, sprained my neck and hit my head on the windshield. Alcohol = bad.

    Moderate amounts are chill though.

I like a glass of wine now and then when I am alone and hanging out.

It seems to me my complete abuse of alcohol only happens when others around me are joining in the same idiotic behavior. Some how its more fun to be 'stupider' together

I don't drink anything but coffee in that quantity, or Guinness on a night out.
And I disagree: drinking that much vodka may make you intoxicated, but 96 oz of beer is just under five pints.
Who the hell gets drunk after five pints in a night let alone spread throughout the day?

I'm cheap. Two of nearly anything is enough to make me way wobbly enough to make me lean on someone else for support. Three and I'm all over the place. Doesn't matter what it is, three shots, three pints, three glasses of wine, three scotches... whatever.

Two is my usual limit, three and I better be close enough to a sofa or bed I won't have to recover from anytime soon.

I'm kinda short though, and not weighty. You all probably have inches on me, cept for maybe Varda. I think we are close to the same height, tho she might be taller.

It's more habituation than body mass. (Once you've started anyway).
I couldn't do what I did four years ago due the fact that I'm completely "out of practise".
It's probably take me, ooh, four, five sessions to get back up to scratch.

Today is my Uncle's birthday. He would have been 70 something. He was a raging alcoholic. Constantly smoked cigarettes. Messed up his son's life. Broke my grandparents hearts. Crashed numerous cars. Married and divorced x3. Had more kids, then surrendered his parental rights. Just generally F****ed up a lot of lives because of his alcoholism.
But I loved the guy, he had his nice days, he was funny, **suave

He scared the shit out of me about drinking.
    Thanks, Uncle Sal. RIP

Drinking has different meaning at different times in your life. I had lots of fun binge drinking at Fraternity parties BUT I'm not going to do that now!

Well, it definitely is overrated. Most of the time it just gives people reasons to do stupid shit they clearly are aware they are doing.

Alcohol does alter our judgments, people just overdo it.

I have a friend who has a one drink policy..
I think that the more you ban something, the more curious people become, but alcohol, unlike smoking has a duality about it, as I mentioned earlier.. smoking to me is strange, but I can understand it;s temptation.

I didn't mix the baileys and lager.. I thought the lager tasted like crap. I prefer the sweet yet strong aftertaste of baileys.. also, I like the ad.

Take it from a professional drinker. Mixing liquors like that is a recipe for disaster. Another good pointer is don't drink on an empty stomach or when you are really tired. The alcohol will hit you a lot harder. You can go from being a little tipsy to being falling down drunk in a short amount of time...and NO ONE likes to have to babysit someone who's to drunk to stand.

Getting drunk can be fun, but it can make you do stupid things that you will regret. I would post examples...but the internet isn't big enough to hold them all.
