What do you mean 'him'..? As far as I know cellar is a she. Anyway, there is no excuse for smacking your kid like that.
When are you going to learn how to give a positive debate instead of always trying to be Mr or Miss knows it all....?.......... .
Of course there are tons of reasons to drive your poor hard working father CRAZY !. Punish the fathers.....they deserve it because they care too much.....Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! .
A parent should know better than to react that way, even if they are provoked. That said, you and I do not know what happened between them, but frankly I don't think it's relevant.
I think spanking in a reasonable way is okay but beating someone is wrong . Unless kids are well behaved I predict spanking will always be with us .in every society .
I don't call that a spanking. Besides, spanking a 16 year old is pretty questionable in itself. Probably, however, I don't see the relevance.
I don't care give a shit what she said to provoke him. Verbal disrespect is NOT an excuse for slapping someone so hard they hit the floor and suffer bruising. Judging from her description of him, she called him that for a reason. That piece of shit has no business being alive.
You do not care BUT you are neither a judge nor a juror.....so life will continue with family dis-accord until the last day of our lives....Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! .
And damn lucky I don't have that power. I think if I was in that household and saw him smack her to the floor I'd start pounding on him and not lay off until his dead body stopped convulsing.
Oh. When the kids I watch pick up dead creatures I tell them to get rid of it and wash their hands. A few weeks ago two boys were throwing toad guts at each other and wiping it in some of the girls' hair, it was so gross and nasty. I had to bathe them both and wash out their mouths and wash all of the girls hair, I don't know where they found that thing. Sorry unrelated story, I'm just still traumatized. I punished one with a "time outs" as is protocol, but I don't think they learned anything. Since one fell asleep and the other forgot why he was sitting there.
LOL, its why we have 2 set of salad tongs. One for picking up dead things and the other for my kitchen. Squished frogs on the road. Kinda like toad jerky. A trip to the beach is always exciting as well. Found a puffer fish once. Lots of dead birds and squirrels get picked up as well. They are always wanting those skulls. My daughter is more 'skull hungry' than my son ever was. But I think it has to do with a complete cow skeleton hanging from the ceiling of her classroom this year. I would only punish them for it if they were smooshing them on each other....maybe. I'd probably just call them both idiots and tell them to get in the shower. And to quit listening to their dad. Not every idea he has is a good one. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Dead animals can carry diseases too . So it is not good for kids to pick them up or play with them . With bird flu, snow flu.....etc, one should be careful .
They're building up immunities. And they are using salad tongs. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! and what the hell is snow flu? WTF have those snowmen been doing!? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Well, As it exist spanking or physcial disicpline is not of any use before four years of age, due to the time period of commplete development of the brain, as the bones of the skull of a child are not commpetely joined. and most skin sensatation is not mentally decernable. Therefor physcial discilpine will not serve as a usefull purpose. Physcial disicpline appears to be most need form the ages of 4 to 9, but may contiune to age 12. at this age the child is more active and investigating various limits of enviorment abroad and in the dwelling. By 9 to 12 years age, child disclpine should be skills and oreinted tasks preforming : which requires there attention. I have two. Both early 20's. Both doing ok. Never laid a hand on them. Times when I thought I would I got control of myself. Wanting to fight your parents is a product of dysfunction. I blame the parent, somewhere he/she got sidetracked.
You're making an assumption here. Do you assume that the only reason parents hit their children is that the children provoke them? You're blaming the victim. Why?
People have lots of opinions about kids before they have them. My uncle used to complain about my parents carrying us around when we were kids. When he had his own he was worse at spoiling them than my parents ever were [and my parents are hard to beat at spoiling their kids with attention ]
