Get some religion. One time I was at a show and I saw a guy wearing a tshirt that said "even jesus hates creed". That was funny. Anybody with thoughts on creed? I'll report back after the show.
Thread done in one. With a band such as Creed, the above quote moves from subjective opinion to objective fact. And Scott Stapp is a douche.
They were once of the first bands I listened to when I was young and first buying CDs. Now I of course can't listen to the stuff without laughing at how bad some of it is, like listening to the chorus to "children... keeep on daaancing... beliiiieeve you can fly..." while he's pretty much sobbing. For god sakes... it'd work if it wasn't cheap lyrics most of my friends could best in their notebooks in class... So they suck, but then again, it was kind of a start for me. Bittersweet.

They did split and the band was playing with a new singer. They're called alterbridge. I saw them live at a festival show and they were decent. Nickleback does suck, jesus christ. I saw them live too and wanted to stab myself in the eye the whole show. Horrible! Creed I have mixed feelings about. Some of their songs are decent like "what if?", but songs like "arms wide open" make me want to yak. They put on a good live show last night though.
I know about alterbridge and have seen them myself, that's why I thought creed had (technically)split. :shrug: So did you actually see creed or just alterbridge? They're good but not live, everyone says they suck live. You're dead to me.
It was creed but they were selling alterbridge cds at the merch booth too. Sorry about the arms wide open thing but...dude.
