    What's your favorite beer?

Mine is great lakes edmund fitzgerald. Its smokey, chocolatey, hint of coffee, goodness is delectible and worthy of savoring. Plus, its brewed in cleveland, and cleveland rocks!

I live in the northwest, we have tons of great micro's here.

Widmer, Deshutes, Sierra Nevada are all good brews.

I like the sierra nevada pale ale, but hate the porter, which is wierd because a porter is my fave type of beer! I'll have to check out the deshutes too.

Unibroue? That's funny! "I'll have a unibroue please and a shot of hot wax."

You need to let it warm up and definetly drink from a pint glass not the bottle.

Deshutes makes a good porter as well, same thing glass no bottle. Their stout is excellent, and I normally don't go for the stouts, but I like theirs.

There are a few that get more chocolatey though, thats what my wife likes, especially with a hint of coffee.

As I sip this Negra Modelo, I'm wondering if it may be my new favorite cerveza.

This is the secret Americans can't wrap their head around. It makes all the difference even with crappy budwieser or whatever.

Unless it's light beer, then it's : freeze, plug nose and drink.

Yep, my brother in law likes the really light beer, whenever I offer him a hefe or ale, I hand him a glass and he says no, I'll just drink it from the bottle.

    Just doesn't quite get it.

well, Ive heard that good wine is supposed to "breathe" before you drink it. IMO, beer should also.

I think cluster was referring to beers like Keystone and coors light but I could be mistaken.

    Bitburger is a good beer.

One trick with beer that you may already know. But when you pour beer into a glass, it's best to wet the inside of the glass with water, just a quick rinse on the inside, tilt the glass and pour slowly, that pretty much eliminates over-foaming.
