Stop reading a single page and read the whole fucking book.

    Alright. Man. Fuck.

Paul. It all comes down to Paul.

*edit - that is, of course, assuming you read all that we have on what might have happened. Which is, unfortunately and incidentally, hearsay.

SAM, do you really believe you are getting that land back? We all ready know that the arab armies are far to incompetant to be tasked with taking over Israel, and soon enough Gaza will run out of little boys to send over to blow up.

Not even the US could force the Jews out of Israel, SAM, your not getting the land back, end of story.

*laughs* What you really mean is that I'm not saying anything you can grasp, because you don't even have the historical background (such as it is) to form an accurate judgment, and yet you're here offering opinions anyway.

The one followed by the main body of Zionist settlers who formed Israel and make up the country today, vs the one followed by the main body of the Palestinians they dispossessed.

Both of them Abrahamic holy-book belief systems.
The fact that "human rights" are inventions of only some cultures and vary somewhat by espouser, and that such rhetoric of espousal can be used for manipulation, does not belittle them, or render them nonexistent.

If there were no difference in religion (i didn't say areligious) IF the people returning were Muslims - would there have been any problem at all?

Well, tell me SAM. What's your opinion?

Undoubtedly. Why would religion be relevant in an occupation? Ever hear of World War I and II?

So you are of the opinion that even if the people returning were Muslims there would still be a problem? Why?

Common sense. Who would you rather be invaded, occupied and dispossed by with violent, continuous military force over 8 decades?

    1. Atheists
    2. Muslims
    3. Christians
    4. Jews
    5. Buddhists
    6. No one.

Not your choice, invasions come and invasions go, you don't get to chose the when.

Invasions are terrible so try to stop them by electing intelligent, peaceful, responsible and wise politicians instead of electing lunatics . Crazy folks know only crazy politics .

That's funny SAM because in many other threads you speak of the "Glorious" Muslim Empire carved out of Persia. You also suggest that during the Islamic Crusades only cotton candy was handed out and everyone happily bent over to take it. With smiles all around. Oh, and you also prattle on about how people who don't live in a country shouldn't butt their nose into it (aka Iranians living overseas wanting to change their despotic theocraptic government).

Seems like a lot of hypocrisy flying around here SAM

Not at all. I compare years of occupation by the Persians and the blow back to them by the Arabs in the same way I would a similar one by any occupied people. If the Palestinians for example could organise a revolt like the Arabs did, then it would be justice served on their occupiers.

So Israel is doing very wrong, but SAM is not allowed to say so?

Oh then Israel must be one hell of a big f-n blow-back considering Arabs have occupied their lands for ... what? 1400 years
OOOooohhh but THAT'S completely different right? When Muslims built a temple on top of the Jews version of Mecca it's completely right and good and wonderful and glorious because blah blah blabby blah blah...

Face it SAM, you're hypocritical. You've been programed to identify yourself as Muslim and now you're running code.

Indeed. But you can choose your responses to them. In what way were Arab responses to the Turkish occupation different from their responses to the Euro-Jewish occupation?

Which Arabs? Which temple? The exile is a myth. The Palestinians are the original Jews.

    Well actually it does.

Once you claim that a thing exists in a pure form despite many variations, the onus is on you to prove it.
Who is the final authority on what human rights entail, and where can I find him?
