At first, I was doing great. Push ups, crunches and a little bit of in home cardio and also I started a begining walking/running program. I am doing ok on my dieting, eating right foods and avoidiong that bad foods and not drinking soda. I have lost my motivation, at first it was to get my ass in shape for police academy but that isnt there as strong. What can/How can I dig to keep the motivation strong? I feel guilty as fuck sneaking the unhealthy foods and drinks. I think one of my problems is that I wait later in the day to do my workouts. I think I am going to do them after I get up out of bed and wake up. What do you fitness nuts do to keep yourself going? Please serious inquires only, no bullshiters.

Of course, you have to keep the end goal in mind. If you really wanted to get into the police academy, you shouldn't find it too hard to keep up the motivation. Maybe you still want to go as bad as you wanted to in the past, but you can't find the motivation to work out? Maybe it's because from the moment you started trying to get into shape, you've been self sabataging yourself by negative thinking... for example: "This sucks but I got to do it!" Quick saying shit like that. Now. The more you do, the less motivated you become.

perhaps it is your subconscious making you lazy? perhaps you know that the pigs are a load of thieving cunts and this is your way of keeping yourself from joining their filthy ranks.

I never had any problems with the police. They leave me alone.

you have to want to be healthy. it shouldn't be a matter of fighting urges and will power. why do you want to be unhealthy?

btw, i've seen a lot of fat cops. A LOT. oink oink. and alcoholic cops...who drink and drive of course. they were our bar flies at a restaurant i used to work at.

I want to be healthy for number of reasons. 1. To be to live a long healthy life 2. To be a physically healthy cop to footchase all the corwardly pieces of shit like vslayer.

Just b/c there are some bad cops, doesn't mean they all are.

The best thing you can do is to join some type of class or activity either in a group setting or with an individual trainer.

This forces you to get to that location on a set schedule which is just like going to a job, you will have others depending on you getting to this meeting. This will cost some money but there are less expensive options.

The other thing that a trainer in this circumstance will do for you is push you way beyond what you would do for yourself.

It has more to do with burning more calories than what you take in. No miracle cures here.

Eat lots of vegetables and lean meats, lots of water and real juice, stay away from the soda and fatty meats and other sugar loaded drinks. Be sure to keep vitamin supplements on board when really burning lots of calories.

    Best recommendation.

Kick boxing class ( expensive but targeted ), soccer (best and cheap) or basketball team indoor or outdoor, mix with daily long walks where you have some hills to go up, anything else that raises the anerobic/aerobic activity so that you sweat like a pig. Seriously.

If you choose the soccer or basketball you need to make sure the team plays 2-3 nights a week.

I know people who got motivated after joining a soccer team because there were embarrased after puking on the field after about 15 minutes.

    Whatever it takes.

There are countless ways to get a proper workout with a sustained elevated heart-rate. The key to continuing with your workouts is to find something you enjoy doing. Not everyone like to run, not everyone likes to swim, not everyone likes to cycle or play soccer/football, or whatever. Do what you like to do, and it'll be easier to stick with it.
