The Classic Naked Egg drop

Hii .. people!..I think you must've got the question till now!..Anyone having any ideas to catch a raw egg without breaking it!...which will be dropped from as high as 5 storeys .... The Stakes are high over over here !.!...People with lots amount of brain are participating!.. Price money is about 500 USD ... Anyone with any good idea1...
I have following ones!..

I'm planning to make a base of paper rings of around 2" at the edges and are placed vertical and are closely packed something similar to an honeycomb structure &keep a Parabolic surface of Rubber padding over it!... How about it!...
I know it sounds creepy!.. but seeing the price money!..it seems nice!...
2nd idea is : fill a container with Castor oil mixed with cotton rolls!...

Any more suggestions!... Please reply even you think you have a weird idea!...

Hell, a ten-foot tall bucket of just about any fluid would work.

the only real chance is if the chicken ate a lot of calcium OR maybe if the egg hits the liquid on the point.

 

Liquid when hit from height can generate a resistant force seen usually in Newtonian liquids at lesser force levels. In other words dropping an egg into a bucket of water with a 100ft drop might not mean it comes out unscathed.

Of course if you have a drainpipe that ran to the ground filled with liquid and put an egg in it, it might well sink to the bottom without any damage. This however would negate it being a classic egg drop.

The usually successful varieties try to displace the egg's mass across a canopy to generate a parachute drop, of course even when it's displaced it can still travel at a speed capable enough of cracking an egg (or breaking your leg if you are a parachutist, Parachutists usually roll when they land to translate the momentum and force away from an actual impact.)

So this suggests that you still need to translate the momentum even while parachuting to some other force to save the egg from a splat.

Obviously though, the contests that are usually done for this egg drop aren't so interested in an eggs safe decent but more so in the ingenuity of those that create the devices that deliver them. So just because a parachute works, doesn't necessarily mean it's going to win a contest

I think dropping into a bucket of methanol may be better than pudding and water? I'm not sure how deep it needs to be?
How about a series of cotton barriers with rupper bands that each stretch and then break slowing down the egg? Then into the water/MeOH?

 

Do you have to be naked or is it sort of a personal choice thing?

Because I'm choosing naked at this point, really.
