I think it is. Why else have a society? For all of the BS one must put up with to have one, it only makes sense to demand much in return. Also, I deliberately left out any mention of how the healthcare would be distributed - ie, by a government, cooperatives, private vouchers, etc. This question relates purely to the theoretical premise of healthcare for all.
So what are we talking about here, forced basic health care for everyone? That's what we have here. Having basic health care is compulsory here. Of course, if you cannot pay it they will compensate you. Oh yea, I agree of course.
You still have to pay. Basic Healthcare costs about 90 euros/month (approx. $134/month) but a lot is covered then. And anything that is covered is pretty much free. That doesn't cover dental though, but that's like 9 euros extra.
Ok, not even an approximation? Uh hang on, you have no healthcare? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
"A society is a body of individuals that is outlined by the bounds of functional interdependence, comprising also possible characteristics or conditions such as national or cultural identity, social solidarity, or eusociality. Human societies are characterized by patterns of relationships between individuals that share a distinctive culture and institutions. Like other communities or groups, a society allows its individual members to achieve needs or wishes that they could not fulfill separately by themselves without the existence of solidarity. well ive never been sick or in a hospital and only taken a few medication, but that was when i was young.
I think that a basic public health service is as necessary as public education in a modern civilization.
