There's a theory that I read some where on the net that says that humans are actually invaders of planet earth. Ever thought about why we are vastly different from other species? Others don't think like we do, they generally just operates base on their survival instincts and they never try to do much beyond that (such as conquering the world etc.) Maybe we humans are thrown here in this planet for some experiment/unknown reason or maybe we're sent out of space for some mission and accidentally stranded here on earth.

The thought of us being thrown here on earth and then we start to conquer this planet is quite cool. Maybe the UFOs watching us are the same kind as us, just that we're thrown here on this planet to start over while they continue to develop their advance technology from afar.

Jesus and Moses were both sent here to help/guide us and they possess advance technological gadgets such as the ones they use to do miracles a.k.a. split the ocean into two, revive the dead, escape death/fake death, etc.

Sometimes I feel guilty as a human, see how we're destroying earth day by day by cutting off trees and ruining the natural balance in earth. Without us here, earth will be a much beautiful and peaceful place to live in. You don't see other animals throwing nuclear warheads to one another do you?

    Thanks for reading

I have always wondered why we are the only species that doesnt fit in with Nature,it does indeed seem like we are more alien like than Nature bound. Not to mention whole groups of animals are so much alike with each other like intelligence, ability to live outdoors, habits, fitting in with Nature etc.We dont belong. We came from out there and it seems almost for the purpose of evolving and maybe even an experiment of sorts. But let me be clear, religion and bible stuff has nothing to do with this.

In a way we are aliens. We are an invasive species, and not just outside of Africa.

    Not really, because we aren't.

    And you know this how?

A pretty good description of humans..

    Exactly.
So where did this come from:
Kind of contradictory, don't you think?

Biologically, I think it makes perfect sense that we are native to the planet. Also, we're not the only species that has or is "destroying the planet". By "destroy the planet" I figure you mean altering the planet so existing life finds it more difficult to survive. This is kinda what happened back when oxygen was first produced by algeas and such in the first oceans. It was a runaway oxygen production that killed them off and provided the oxygen-rich air we enjoy today. One species' trash is another's treasure?

But neat thought though! What if it's not just people, but this planet's life forms in general? I think I remember someone thinking up the idea that the first biological organisms as we know them may actually be some for of alien nano-machine that evolved by natural forces into the myriad of lifeforms we see today. Would be an interesting full circle if that were true and we eventually do something similar to a distant world, continuing a chain of planetary life spawning wholely new planetary life, over and over...

A brief look at anatomy, genetics, behaviour and so on of human beings would tell you that we are vastly the same as other species we share the Earth with.

Oh c'mon, it's still a neat thing to bring up and think about, no mater how unrealistic it actually is

We dont differ at all,if other animals would reach the same level of logic as we they would "nuke" the world too and we too act on instincts.
The origins of life is still a mystery, but theres a theory that we randomly made up from chemicals...but could be an "expiriment" of some aliens...BUT
from where the aliens came?or some meteorite brought us here(old theory)but still that implies that we were already in existance....the closest theory is again the random chemicals...so yes,for time being thats the closest possible answer of the origin of life.

just feel that something's wrong with humans, even though the genetics are very close to chimps and monkeys, but they still don't wear clothes till this day..

I don't think it was your intention but you are pretty much implying that nuking the world is a logical thing to do.

It's interesting how easily you can flip the coin. I often awe at how similar we are to animals, and especially great apes.

Well, this is interesting, but there is just the tiniest problem of our defined relationship to a multitude of other species on Earth. Was this chance? And their relationship to each other?

    hmmm...

how bout there was an existing species of humans in development on earth when all of a sudden a group of aliens became part of that system so the two co-exist to this day and has since lost the knowledge of their origins..
(actually i was thinking this BEFORE battlestar galactica adopted it as their plot..(yea right, you say..))

I can see this isn't drilling in like I'd hoped. Humans are related to other animals. Did the aliens bring all their animals with them? Did they resemble all the ancestral forms of the by-gone Terran biosphere? Plants too? Bacteria? Is there an underlying reason we all have DNA and not, say, a silicon-based large-molecule background?

one of my posts somewhere..was a thoughtline saying that the creation of life is so fragile that it is very possible that any life on other planets would resemble us more than they wouldnt..it took a VERY specific set of circumstances for life to occur here on earth, what if those set of circumstances occured elsewhere in the universe..it is easier for me to believe that life on other planets would resemble us more than something out of a science fiction book..

    (just for giggles)
saying it is possible for any creature we can imagine could be evolved on other planets opens it up to life forms descendant from squirrels...
