Ok I want to know what retarded idiot invented the word 'emo'.
What is the etymology of this?
Is it wrong to have feelings? Damn it.
People have turned into robots so much, that having feelings is considered 'wrong' and 'not part of the 'cool' society'.

    If anyone knows?

Emo means "emotional". It defines people whom show their emotions constantly.

I think it was labelled as emo because it was a softer version of regular hardcore.

I don't have anything against emo music or the people who are into it.

Most emo kids I know are actually very nice people, and are neither selfish whiners nor antisocial or destructive.

wow, i need to go there... all the Emos that are around here, and that I do know, I want to shoot! They are whiny little bitches! Sorrry but its the only word I know to describe it. They are depressed allllll the time because noone "understands" them.. so they go and drink themselves into blackouts, and talk shit about everyone around. some of the music I think is cool... But the people themselves are shallow and to self absorbed.

Everyone is a sinner no matter what, there is NO WAY to keep the commandments, it's unhuman to assume you can.

All the emo's that I know are generally nice people. They have their own "unique" style of dress and they listen to "emo" music (I'm using quotations because they're not unique, one group of emo's look exactly the same as another even if they deny it and they all have their own music tastes within a group so it is unfair to generalise that all emo's listen to the same brand of music).

One stereotype that emo's do stay true to however is their softer side. As a rule you should never offer emo's skunk or hard liquor unless you're gonna be very far away from them and don't have to put up with their crap e.g oh my mum's sending me to rehab coz I smoke too much pot - I'm gonna quit right after this cone of cab, I'm a lesbian but that guy is soo hot - that guy is not hot he looks like a transvestite who doesn't know the meaning of daylight makeup.

Other than their bullshit dramas their totally nice people.

Perhaps I should take that personally but if that's how you feel then that's how you feel.

I'm not about to start an argument with someone who gets pissy about usernames
