If we go back here Baron, you couldn't even acknowledge that authors specifically known for being introspective were introspective. Google poe, dickinson, thoreau, emerson, etc. and you will find biographers and lit crits referring to them over and over as precisely that. I notice you are now saying some writers, but you never acknowledged that person was in fact correct, even when they supplied you with evidence. You, however, do not supply evidence, you simply demand it of others.

How could biographers know that a few dead authors were introspective while living? Is there a test for the "introspective gene" from old DNA?

If a bunch of biographers or authors say something, does that make it true? Even if a bunch of them agree on something, does that make that something true? If a bunch of politicians say and agree on something, do you then always take it as true?

What's the difference, Doreen, between "thinking about something" and "introspection"?

I seldom, if ever, make any solid, declarative statements. I mostly ask questions of things that other people post. If you check, you'll find that even my "declarative statements" are usually questions-in-disquise.

Science provides the answers to scientific questions.

All your arguments are scientifically based.

Your argument presupposes that questions that cannot be answered using scientific methods are not valid questions.

Here's a valid question that you cannot answer using science. You can only answer it by referring to human emotion, belief and experience.
    Same as religion.

Why is the music composed by Mozart better than that composed by Captain Kremmen?

I'm thinking 1 if it's only experimentally, it means nothing. Real introspection I think has to be genuine. 3 introspection can be bad if you misinterpret and end up doing something that people would consider crazy or wrong. 2 it can be good cuz when you look at yourself and find yourself flawed you can heal yourself with the right actions.
