Guards often need to stay abreast of the activities of inmates because of such misbehavior. However, adding a felony charge to the behavior of someone very intoxicated seems like crying over spilled milk, to me. I can understand the guards distaste for the "attack" but the offender was clearly not in her right mind. This case juggles a fine line between offending someone and committing an offense. A felony conviction over this woman acting like a boob when drunk is overkill. It's sad to think that in modern times, it's a crime for a disgruntled drunk person to get something off their chest. The drunk woman had already been busted. I hope this case gets dropped Flat out.

It is when it's a felony. In all seriousness, how can a person be Charged with Felony Assault for squirting milk on someone? The stuff is not Toxic. It caused the guard no harm. And if one can argue it caused emotional or mental harm- then that hypersensitive person has no business being a guard in a Jail! It really is Blown out of Proportion.
