Agreed, most Sci-fi can do that too.

No, it couldn't have been the gravity that pulled it in. Given how close it was to Endor the DS II's gravity well would have been casuing massive quakes on the surface. Far more likely that all the thrusters went haywire in a way that sent it into the DS.

Very true, what matters is that SW uses DET weapons to do it.

Also, to correct the city claim the quote from RoTS novel said TL blast strong enoguh to vaporize a small town.

It couldn't be the thrusters, it looked like it its falling not being rammed. It never said it DIDN'T cause massive quakes either.

I love how you believe them losing 400 gigawatts is the equivalent of giving them Q

But, considering the small city thing is not part of ICS and Acclamators do this while being transporter weapons

And a 20 year old ship can melt a 1,000 KM moon

Besides, in AotC, we learn that Boba Fett has small bombs in his ship that destroy asteroids similar to the ones in ST TNG. It took hundreds of Photon Torpedoes to destroy said asteroid, and one Slave bomb to destroy another.

In "Legacy", said phaser took time to cut through SAND, and it only cut through 1.7 kilometers, WHAT A CRAPPY LEVEL OF POWER.

Conner Macleod's post states it takes somewhere between 125 teratons to 125 petatons to do what these ships do

Lying bastard, they can't exceed megatons whereas it takes teratons to petatons to destroy continents and atmospheres? Everything you state is biased and over-the-top lies.

In SW, teleporters can't go through SW Neutronium and yet ST transporters can? Ignorant Trektard XD

In SW, we have turbolasers DESTROYING atmospheres and cracking the crust. Also, it takes teratons to petatons to destroy a continent, AS I SAID.

Aww someones getting desperate, Worf says js that 400 gigawatts lowers the shields, and the next one breaks the shields. That's not even a terawatt.

No, most of those things were already thought about and being made, Star Trek just used them. And if we go by that, there is a universe in the multiverse where Star Wars fires teratons at the Star Trek ships and they blow apart. That's fact.

    Stuff it.

So an empire that can generate no more than a terawatt on its ships is supposed to be dangerous? Considering it takes megatons to destroy cities. Plus, Photon Torpedoes destroy cities, lying fanboy, nothing more.

True, but it is still more likely haywire thrusters I think. And on the quakes, given the fact that the DS II was in geo orbit above the rebels the whole time and there was neve so much a small tremor there is no reason to believe the DS II had such a huge gravity well.

Eh, this point doens't matter to the debate at hand so lets just drop it anyways.

Ricery, you are incredible you know that? You STILL have not provided a single fact.

Look up a member called TW Scott - you and he would get along REAL well... both Rabid Warsies that can't provide a single modicum of fact for anything.

He is right about Jango's little bombs. I swear, they are the size of hand grenades! Its probably too powerful therefore too dangerous to be used as hand grenades.

*[removed by mod T]*. I showed YOU SEVERAL pages proving your Trektard microscopic brain wrong

From what my Trekker/Warsie friend has told me, you're all a bunch of fanboys who lost to TW Scott, and considering he likes Star Trek just as much as Star Wars, it's obvious that he's right.

No, you haven't. You have provided links to SD.net, a site that was proven TIME AND AGAIN to have not only faulty math but all the debating skills of a dead whale.

And Scott doesn't like (or know) Star Trek in the slightest... and neither do you. Hell, I reckon you couldn't even tell me how many decks the Defiant has...

    EDIT:

And just for the record, I like Wars and Trek... Star Wars is more a fast-paced action ride. Star Trek has moral depth and a message deeper than nearly every TV show in existence today, from promoting racial equality to a vision of mankind's self improvement.

Okay, so they wouldn't have noticed 400 gigawatts is far too small to hurt them, and they went along with it? Oh God, is that what you're trying to say?

Good job, considering in ESB, we see normal turbos destroying asteroids and vaporizing them, and they were hundreds of meters btw.

Wrong, they used the Enterprises phaser to cut through the sand. And it took a while, E.G. a dozen seconds.

Too bad it doesn't say Star Wars anywhere, you were too scared to click the link, but it states directly how much the lower and upper limit of continent destroying weapons, not the gigawatts of the Starship Enterprise. YOU LIED.

You suggested the ST ships destroyed continents when they can't generate more than a terawatt except for Photon Torpedoes.

Yes they do, but they're rare and only the rich can afford them, plus, Star Wars ships can fly near a dwarf star without problems, and in G-Canon, the Executer has the power of a medium sized star so you're an idiot. Easily contradicted because in DS9, the Klingons are losing to NORMAL HUMAN FEMALES without weapons or strength, so, does that make Klingons weak?

So if someone shot a pellet gun and shook up a tank and the crew doesn't give a shit, does it make sense? Fail! And where is it contradicted?

OH YOU CAN'T LISTEN, we'll be using teleporters and replicating anti-matter? FOOLISH FANBOY

    You are so ignorant.

YOU LEARN SOMETHING NEW! CLICK THE QUOTES.

Oh you're so ignorant, considering I only watch TNG reruns and will continue from there when I'm done and go on to DS9, but, seeing links I get for the Dominion, I'm not impressed with them nor am I impressed with Klingon CQC.

And just for the record, I never stated to hating Star Trek, but comparing a small Type 1 Civilization to a Type 3 Civilization is stupid. As is Trektards comparing the Federation of Planets or the Borg to the Xeelee.

Single Photon Torpedo>>>> 400 Gigawatts. Please also stop it with the insults already and start bring up other ST events to support 400 Gigawatts being damaging instead of just yelling "idiot fanboy this one event is clearly the only one!" I don't like to insult people or flame ricery, but you are going overboard.

Provide proof of them being "hundreds of meters" in diameter as I recall calcs put them in the area of 60 meters.

Claiming they can't generate more then a terrawatt is stupidity when their are many more events that prove that wrong. In fact you bring one up with the Photon Torpedoes: It takes more then one Photon Torp to bring down the shields or destroy a starship.

In Enterprise we have an upper limit of 50 Megatons for the Photonic Torpdoes. Not only that but the Phase Cannons which as far I know are DET start out at 80 Gigajoules and get upgraded later to the mid tripple digit Gigajoules which are just three strikes against you here.

You mean Neutron Star? Because being close to a Dwarf star is not in any way impressive.

Where in G-canon is this shown? As I recall the calcs for that come from 3 Star Destroyers dropping out of hyperspace in a comic... which would be C not G canon.

You've just been wrong by a Mod to knock this off, so I believe this would be Strike One.

    Edit:

WTF? Please point us all to where anyone ever claimed the UFP or Borg would stand a in hell of of taking the Xeelee on. You already shot yourself in the foot once with the UFP vs Culture link you gave that had only one person dumb enough to believe that the UFP stood a chance and everyone else said he was wrong.

Edit2: Almighty Tallest Supported Nitpick: A Type One Civilization is one that only controls the energy of a single planet. The UFP and other ST powers mostly fall hundred high-low Type Two.

Okay, so it contradicts itself? Besides, Photons lose some of their power in space and they're omnidirectal, so more like 24 megatons tops (they did 48 megatons not 50). Not impressive. Thinking about it, C canon is continuity canon, not secondary canon or non-canon, so it technically is canon. So it's correct, but desperate people like Kittamaru will deny it.

4 to 11 is not 1 to 14. Besides, it was on Factpile, a site corrupt but also accurate, and L-W himself states Star Wars beats Star Trek, and he is >>>>> fanboys

    As inaccurate Wikipedia is...

Some Trek fools make Borg out to be Type 3?

Clarification on what is contradicting itself please.

True, but is still far more then 400 Gigawatts which disproves that being a hard limit on TNG era ships.

True, I was simple asking where it was in G canon since the only event I knew of fell under C canon. Even so, you still have the low GT range HTL blast seen at 6:15 in the vid I gave the link to which as least gives you either greater or at least equal firepower using the mid end ST calcs.

I suggest just running with the low GT HTL for now and try and find more support besides the ICS for it which would greatly help.

“Craft: Human spaceship machine thingy shaped like a mile long arrowhead. Markings: Lighty-flashy things all over it along with giant globes on tower thing. Capability: *BOOM* … minimal. Evaluation: PATHETIC! PATHETIC STAR WARS HUMAN VEHICLE!" *cackles madly. Space Bee hits windshield and Irken Voot Cruiser crashs into the Death Star and out the other side and into an SSD before crashing back on Earth and a giant flash blinding the entire nightside of the planet*
