It's a boy!

We are informed of the arrival of a youngling in the Sciforums community. Merry meet to Alexander, who made his safe emergence into the world earlier today, and congratulations are in order to Mr. and Mrs. Trippy.

Time stamp, statistics, and cute photos are, we might hope, forthcoming. In the meantime, of course, I prescribe much sleep as soon as possible for an exhausted Daddy, and, naturally, presume Mommy is already about the same. Hopefully.

Best wishes, hopes, and blessings to young Alexander. May you find kindness, hope, and much joy in this world.

Naturally, we would wish Mrs. Trippy a strong and speedy recovery from the challenges of birth. Our best wishes, of course, to this growing family.

(A note to Tripling #1: Yes, Mommy and Daddy still love you just as much as ever. There is just lots of work to do right now in receiving your younger brother.)

And, really, Trippy, get some sleep, man. The days ahead ... well, yeah. You know. You've been through this all before.

2010g, 46 cm. (4.5 lbs, 18.1 inches).

They're a wee bit concerned about his size and his blood sugar, but aside from that, everybody is fine.

Number 1 does, Don't know about number 2 yet - he's still in newborn intensive care, but it's looking good for him being discharged next week.

Yeah. It is just a concern, and he's only in there as a precuationary measure, he's already out of the incubator into a cot, and feeding well.

My baby days are behind me and I'm...well, jealous. CONGRATS!!!! :)
