Yes and no. DCS, a government subsidized program, should seek to educate pregnant women and try to make them care for their fetus as well as they do babies. It's a program that is on a layer inbetween law enforcement and the citizens. If a pregnant person is smoking, we should be required to report the incident to DCS. They should investigate and act accordingly. This way the parent is held responsible to care for the fetus in a socially acceptable manner. It's what DCS is for, so why aren't we treating cases like this yet? Boost the DCS budget democrats!
I meant things like junk food and OTC drugs, which are bad only to the extremes for you but are horrible even in small doses to fetuses.
So ends the debate. If people are not advocating drawing lines for other people, there remains no issue.
