Brazil seemed to take some tips from Nigeria on how to throw away a game.

Unfair? It is the duty of a player to prevent a goal. He did his job and paid for it.

Well, I think it's really sad for Ghana because that should have been a goal.
But really, Suarez deserves praise for his action. It's because of him that Uruguay is through to the semi finals.
Plus it makes it a bit easier for us

I think we played better in the second half than Brazil did in the first half.
Granted, they never stooped to our 'first half level'..

Easier? Are you joking, it is a free ticket to finals now: Suarez was the only serious player in Uruguay alongside Lugano who is also injured in this game.

Now Netherlands can even rest all the star players for the final against Argentina (yes, it will be Argentina).

I rather wait to see the game. Nothing is guaranteed.

If I had to guess I'd say that Argentina will play Spain in the semi-finals. And I'm afraid that Spain will win that match.

I think you're forgetting Diego Forlan. I'm sure Holland would rather have played Ghana.

I'm gutted for Ghana, sooooooo close...AAHH!!

agreed ... they had really some luck this time.
japan, cameroon, denmark, slovakia, ... brazil was an opponent to fear, but the other matches were a walk in the park

now urugay should be no worthy enemy, so i´d also say to reach the final is guaranteed.

I was dreaming like many others. I think now the name of the final is:

Netherlands vs Germany, return of 1974. (and no, I don't give any chance to Spain or Paraguay against Germany)

What a cracking game that would be...

Now Diego Marajuona's gonna raise his arms up to God and be like "WTF was that all about?" Congrats to the Germans

If they play Spain like they played today, Germany will certainly win.
Congrats on a very deserved victory, by the way. Awesome game!!

I haven't seen much of the World Cup at all this time round (having no TV helps me avoid it more easily) but did Bobby Charlton or Kevin Keegan score any goals this year?

Anyone that thinks the World Cup is boring really needs to watch todays highlights. I don't know how Spain v Paraguay will end but I've just seen a crazy 3 minutes, 3 penalties, two missed and one scored but disallowed!!

A few words about Germany, so far the team of the tournament.
