Welcome to the future where drugs will be delivered electronically!

At least that's what they want you to believe...a quick google search yields results describing software that can intoxicate you through the use of binaural beats.

Binaural beats are nothing new, but I-Doser claims they've developed a method by which to simulate the effects of any drugs. Being a :m:head I couldn't resist but give it a try.

I skipped all the nonsense and went straight for their strongest dose called "Hand of god". This dose is suppose to be so strong that they won't release it to the public. So it's available for $200 :bravo:.

What do you guys think about this? Sounds like a scam to me. I'll post my own experience later, if anyone cares to discuss it.

It seems like binaural beats with a fancy backing track. Binaural beats are today exactly what they were 20 years ago: To have any apparent effect, the brain needs exposure to a particular frequency (which correlates to the frequency of particular brain-states) for enough time for the brain to resonate with the given frequency.

Marketing, flashy websites and high-def recordings of whales engaged in political discussions mean someone can dress & resell what is basically just two continuous tones of differing frequencies. Yay for the internet.

Here's one of their more popular products:

Who would want a 50 minute orgasm? After a couple it would just seem...unpleasant. At some point I'd probably freak out and rip out my genitals. I'm guessing they mean you achieve an orgasm after 50 minutes but if that's the case why spend all that time when there are much faster alternatives?

Looking at their forums, they seem to have developed quite a following. Whether or not this works, they're making a ton of money off it.

Considering you're prepared to pay $200 for a product straight off the bat - its no surprise they're making a ton of money. Either the marketing is brilliant or the product actually works. So, have you tried out your $200 purchase yet? Worth the money? Hows the Hand of god feel?

Binaural beats are calming, but I seriously doubt they can replicate powerful narcotics.

    It's all poo.

    Well now...I didn't say I purchased it.

Anyways, while listening to it I had some very unusual thoughts. They were pretty out there, but nothing close to what I-doser described. Although I've never been hypnotized I'd imagine that's the way it would feel. I don't believe any of these "intoxicated" feelings could be achieved but it may have some therapeutic value.

And no, it would not have been worth the money.
