it was in one of the shows, the enterprise followed a sphere back in time and stopped it from destroying the first warp capable ship which attracted the vulcans attention because the borg wanted to assimilate the humans look for that episode it's the next generation.

That's not destroying a planet, and besides, the Borg never use it again, thus it had a one time use.

    how can i?

we ARE talking in universe aren't we? i can prove it by showing you what the borg have done. they have gone back in time. therefore they can go back in time to prevent a planet from being born.

the Q isn't god though, that's never implied. the Q are a highly evolved species rather. the force i see as the spirit within, so i think it would beat Q. however, i believe there is a god force in Star Trek universe, and i mean the spirit in which starfleet was formed, and the spirit of the captains, and Star Trek has Q. so the winner is clear.

And how do they do that? We don't know how sophisticated their time travel is, let alone if they can use it whenever they want.

It was in proper format... as, you know, you don't get to dictate the format. I should report you for simple flamebait just for that post... you REALLY think you're in charge here, don't you... it's amazing.

And Terminator armor IS made of some unquantifiable material... can you go get some of it and test its tensile strength? No? Then it's fucking unquantifiable, especially against an NDF effect, something we NEVER see in WH40K.

Christ, it isn't that hard to comprehend...

I can't respond to the entire post, so yeah, I don't have to respond.

Surviving hundreds of tons crushing is a massive feat.

    Quiet.

He's mad that I can single-handedly rile up he and his cronies on SpaceBattles (a subsidiary of Star Destroyer.net) AND show them as the liars and flame-baiters they are, and not get so much as a peep for it. It bugs him to no end that he can't get under my skin, even on a site so utterly biased in such a large majority of its fanbase.

I mean, come on, one of the sites primary rules for their vs debates is that Star Trek can NOT use "tech of the week", even if said tech is readily and easily able to be duplicated on the field. *shrugs*

Uhm... wow... how wrong can you get.

Okay, first off, how on the name of hades do you calc 'ton weapons (not even kilotons) from TDiC??? What kind of whacky tobbacy are you smoking over there? Last I checked, you couldn't see a "ton" explosion from orbit... much less high orbit. For that matter, they wouldn't be rather large... Plus you have to consider the NDF effect (you know, that thing that has a nasty tendency to simply vaporize large quantities of matter into nothingness, instead of making it explode)...

Of course, that doesn't matter to you and your "sciance"... you follow the Ork philosophy, don't ya. Did you paint your cat red hoping it would go faster?

If you can't respond to the entire post, then you are just as dim-witted as you are untruthful, and nothing more.

And no, that is not a personal attack - it is a simple statement of FACT, as no other intelligent person on this forum (or any other) has had an issue with my method of quoting.

And no, surviving hundreds of tons of crushing force is simple - you could spread it over a wide area, use specific shapes designed to transfer the weight to the ground, use strong materials, anti-gravity, force fields, et al. Now, surviving said same crushing force applied to a small area, that means something - however, we still cannot determine an accurate material strength as it's more than just crush resistance that makes a material strong... especially against energy weapons.

Take a fortified bunker - a 2000 lb bomb going off on top of it won't phase it, yet a 250lb penetrator warhead will decimate it.

Why? Is the 250lb one more powerful? No. It simply employs a different method (aka tactic, something else you claim is useless) to bypass a majority of the bunkers defenses.

And no, I wont' be quiet - least of all because YOU try to tell me to.

Again with the taking lowest-end figures for Trek and Highest-Possible figures for Wars...

*sigh* The wank is getting old man... it's starting to smell bad too. Go take a shower, scrub some of that off before it gets all crusty in your hair.

Well, for one, the Federation can modify a Photon Torpedo to blow up a small planet. I doubt the Borg would have any trouble matching that, especially as they have assimilated Federation schematics before, they are generally MORE powerful than the Federation ship for ship by FAR, and they have a much larger power source...

So... yeah, they can blow up planets nicely if they wanted to. However, they don't... they assimilate.

Yes, they can use it whenever the FUCK they want your raving lunatic... dear God, do you think the Federation GAVE them that?

    NO

The QUEEN decided to use it, as the QUEEN is the only one with any individuality. Normal Borg drones don't get to make choices like that. If anything, that is the Borgs BIGGEST weakness - they can only assimilate, not improvise. They cannot adapt to new things without dissecting it in some form or another, be that by physically taking the object and learning how it works (assimilation) or by being blown up enough times that each time they lose a ship they learn a little bit about how to defend against it.

Stop trying to play the smart one here - you're only making yourself look DESPERATE.

Oh, and enjoy the mega-quote - you asked for it after all, Jar-Jar.

I think that should be our new nick-name for Ricrery... Jar-Jar. After all, he's good for comic-relief.

I hear a lot of QQ'ing... but not a lot of meaning. You're insulting the moderation staff AGAIN... I seriously have to call into question your mental faculties here... I mean... why would any intelligent person do that? Seriously? It's like going up to a state trooper, flipping him the bird, cussing him out, and insulting his mother, then expecting nothing to happen. No, more than likely he'll tackle you and cuff you to a nearby tree - if questioned, he'll say you were verbally assaulting him and he was worried that you would become physical due to how obviously unstable you were acting.

PS - hehe... you tried to edit your post... well, here's the thing...

    1) I quoted it... so it's already obvious you said it.
    2) The mods can see your edit-history... you know that, right?

Oh? here's you being humiliated, while "beating the Spacebattles group!11!!!" Another instance. In each one you failed to provide any proof.

No plasma, no long living fireballs... yeah, if you understand physics, you know, at all, you would understand why that was an instance of tons.

Is that why you are CONSTANTLY humiliated on SB?

Yeah, because they're mostly retard, like you

A several hundred ton foot bigger than him crushed him.

No, you make stupid claims all the time on SB, why do you think everyone on SB hates you?

Oh no, something twice as strong as photon torpedo can blow up a small planet... did you ever think it wasn't literal?

They can't, as a 12 teraton bomb was considered a "super weapon" to them.

Which is why they didn't use it after the first incident? Retard.

    Like you do on Spacebattles.

*giggles* Wow... so full of hate.

What "appeal to extremity"? What "display of irrational stupidity"? What "self interference"? You have yet to provide examples of anything other than your hatred for all that is logic.

Example 1 - You never "humiliated" me in the slightest. To be fair, I still contend that the Feds could eventually overcome the Xeelee, if only because I don't have a reason to believe any of your wank.

Example 2 - White Rabbit took what I said and twisted it into something completely different. My exact words:

And yet he decides to attack me... that's humiliating me? I didn't know that. I'll be sure to keep that in mind [/sarcasm]

Or, perhaps, they use an unknown mechanic that we don't know anything about? Or, you know, perhaps because it's science fiction it doesn't follow the laws of physics as we know them. Or, perhaps, the NDF effect doesn't create massive fireball, but instead shunts material into another dimension (makes sense considering how things just *poof* away instead of exploding). NEXT

I'm not... now, you on the other hand... even your SD.net friends tend to get irritated with you.

So, a large part of a forum population (90+%) having the same consensus that doesn't agree with yours means that said population is wrong and/or retarded, and you and ONLY you are the intelligent one?

Hm, someone has a bit of an ego I see.

And what was said foot made of? What was the ground beneath him? Were any shields in place? What was going on?

A quote would be helpful, ya dig?

The ironic thing is... they don't. I even talk now and then with several of the admins and moderators, and one in particular is helping me with a rather personal problem. Now, if they hated me, I doubt very much they would do that.

Why would we assume it isn't literal? Just because you say so?

    Quote?

Well, I dunno - did you SEE what the end result was? They got their ass handed to them. Chances are, they wouldn't try it again because, ya know, the result would be the same?

    Like you do on Spacebattles.[/QUOTE]

Actually, on SpaceBattles, I (and others like myself) generally end up being the voice of logic long after you and your little band of misfits have dissolved into hurling insults at people instead of even attempting to debate the topic at hand... much like you are doing here. You are trying (and failing) to discredit me instead of my argument... a classic fallacy known as the Strawman.

Ricrery, Ricrery, so full of hate. You should go see a therapist about that... so much anger is bad for you. I mean, you saw what happened to Hitler right? He went psycho and tried to eliminate an entire peoples from the face of the Earth, determined to "carve the Earth in his own image" (which, ironically, wasn't anything like what he actually looked like... doh).

I fear what you do in the real world when you get angry... you don't stomp on sacks of kittens, do you? Because your public displays of Rage on here just... they worry me. I'm not trying to be rude, but it is people that act the way you are that bring guns into schools and hospitals and go on shooting rampages... and thus people like you scare me.

Anyway, I'm going to bed - it's 2 am here, and to be honest, reading the same-old same over and over is getting kind of boring... it's not even making me laugh anymore... so yeah, time for bed.

@all - good luck keeping your sanity

So several people proving you wrong on 31st century Feds beating Xeelee isn't enough? The Xeelee, HAVE shown instances of the things people say they can do, this is NOT wank. Wank is overpowering one, whereas Xeelee doing whatever the hell they want in the novels isn't wank, but CANON. Besides, it was nice of you to ignore Rama's math done for you. You just cried that he was using invalid numbers and that if he did the numbers himself (which is something YOU must do for the RULES of the forum), he would prove that you were right.

Fine, another instance enough for you? Btw, good job breaking the forum rules. You REALLY have a habit of doing that.

You couldn't provide ANY proof when he asked for some. You therefor conceded the entire argument.

Doesn't work like that. As White Rabbit said, you post something deeply stupid each post like in this quote.

Now? Not anymore. No one seems to hate me to this day, even if they did hate me before, excluding Mith, for one, or Hellblade8 here.

No, pretty much even the calm and nice members call you dense.

It was in the thread I linked about *gasp* a terminator.

Because it was a comment like I would say "A gigaton? This is a city, not California that we're trying to blow up!" and it's clear that if a 200 Isoton photon can't destroy a planet, neither can a 54 Isoton one. Good God, do you think about these simple things before you post?

Take the non-canon 64 megaton PT, now multiply it by 8,000 to get 2,000,000 Isotons, and you get 5.12 teratons. SO impressive

Oh no, time travel is useless now! I mean, they can time travel in a different area of space and subjugate Earth without worry

You make the most retarded claims ever. Trekkers are like that.

You being the voice of logic? You DO make retarded posts on SB so much it isn't funny. Like Battlemech A raping Battlemech B to make a Baby Battletech C, and thus no one wins. Name one instance you were the voice of truth and logic.
