But Pluto is in a court dispute, one guy claimed that he bought it as a planet, another woman claims she bought it as an asteroid.
The Patent office begs to differ. I now own your soul. MONIE PLOX. Actually we were making fun of her. *gestures towards the numerous mocking posts* I don't think any of us actually believe that, I'm sure that's not what he meant.
Nope, the Patent Office most definitely does not allow you to patent things found in nature. Not the US patent office, anyway. No promises for the PO in other countries, no telling what sort of wacky laws other countries might have... I realize that most of you were making fun of her and not taking it seriously. But I think birch was indeed being serious, based on what I've seen of him in the past...mocking sarcasm is a little over his head, and he seizes on any and all chances to bash capitalism.
of course not but i was illustrating that it's an absurd and extreme example of capitalism in action.:bugeye: and you thought i was serious? was it not obvious she did that on the principles of capitalism which i clearly pointed out? i can tell that's what makes you upset as you've cited i 'seize' opportunities to bash capitalism and this example is a fine one. you are upset it highlights the absurdity of it 'extremely' clearly Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! and you thought all these facetious comments were serious? registering someone's soul, air, andromeda galaxy, universe etc and making money off of it? suing for sunburn etc? registering a rock? we can't even reach the andromeda galaxy.
I already explicitly addressed this in my last post. Please read posts completely before responding to them. But whatever, if you were joking than never mind. I still suspect that you (unlike everyone else) were being serious, based on what I've observed of you here at sciforums. Of course, now you will claim you were joking, and since there's no way to prove otherwise, I'm not inclined to argue about it.
