My house, for it is where I like to live and it is very comfortable as I have made it the way I enjoy to live. Every where else they don't have everything I have around my house that I use and enjoy so being home is where I'd go. It isn't worth going somewhere for only 24 hours because it is way to short a period of time to enjoy whatever it is that the place has to offer. As soon as you get unpacked you'll just have to repack and head home, bummer.

I would spend the entire day in The Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney, Australia. It would have to be one of my favourite places.

I would spend that time exploring all of the "off limits" areas of the Smithsonian Museum.

Though it would probably take longer than the alotted 24 hours to see everything, I'd still choose that.

I came to Washington to take a job "temporarily" eight years ago and I'm still here. I love the Smithsonian and have probably spent a year there cumulatively. They even have free chamber music concerts at the National Gallery on Sunday evenings. The new Hall of Human Origins is terrific, although I wasn't as impressed with the Ocean Hall.

I love Washington, it's the most wonderful place I've ever lived. I lived in Los Angeles in the 1960s and 70s so it's not like I missed out on a lot.

Still, there are lots of other wonderful places I haven't managed to see. I'd probably just pick one of the Western European capitals. I saw much of Eastern Europe in 1973.
