I have heard from couple of people that scientists' say that our heart also has thinking ability like brain. Is that so ? When did this research come out and any major astonishing points ? If anyone is in knowledge of it kindly clarify

To my knowledge the only thing that is remotely near to what you are trying to say is that the heart doesn't totally rely upon the brain to define when to beat. You see technically the brain outputs a constant signal to the heart to define when to beat, this is important when exercising or needing the correct reaction in an emergency. However if it was the only thing that definite the beat, you could suffer a heart attack through just fright alone. (Since fright would undermine the signal's timing).

This is where the heart actually has a nerve reaction that can beat for a short while without the brains interaction, this basically acts to "buffer" against missing a beat.

Obviously this isn't exactly stating that the heart thinks, as it doesn't, however it is stating that it is capable of maintaining a function that the brain is used usually to do. (Somebody with the terminology will likely cover this further.)

Actually my penis has a mind of its own and sometimes I listen to it more than what my mind says.

If the question means to ask whether or not the heart has a connection with actual thinking or feelings, then simply looking at heart transplants from donors, animals, or the few mechanical hearts will tell you that, no it's a pump for blood, that's it.

No. You can't "believe" in your heart, and you can't let your heart make decisions.

Incorrect, the heart has in built timers (multiple) which keep it beating, the brain acts as an accelerator (sympathetic nervious system) and break (parasympathetic). Think of it like a car with 4 cruise control settings. The fastest (the SA node) wins as long as its working and if the driver (the brainstem\medalla) doesn't activate either the break or the accelerator the car will tick along at 80-100. However the driver is always making small adjustments which are unnoticed as long as the nervious system is working, but if its not (say a spinal break at C3 which will knock out the sympathetic) you get a very slow heart rate. Knock out both and you get 80-100 beats per min. Knock out the SA node and you get 60-80 beats triggered by the atria, knock that out and you get 40-60 from the AV node, knock that out and your get 40 from the ventricales

Thinking from your mind is objective. More logic and reason.
Making decisions from you heart is subjective, emotions and feelings.
