Not really. Kicking Saddam's ass in the Gulf War didn't win the 1992 election for first President Bush. Bin Laden's death will be decent liberal troll fodder for a few weeks or months, but they will probably need something more important and recent to campaign on when Fall 2012 gets here.
Bush lost because his base abandoned him once he raised taxes. At the time, it was actually the right thing to do. Reaganomics had tripled the national debt and something had to be done to mitigate it. Couple that with the fact that Bill Clinton managed to run the best Presidential campaign anyone has ever seen. His debate performances were flaweless and it didn't hurt that the main stream media was completely enamored with him.

The Navy SEALs killed bin laden. Not the president. I'm 99% sure that the only role if any that Obama could've played was giving the ok to do it. Probably not though. The dude's been on the fbi's most wanted list forever. Also, I don't see an end to the war in Afghanistan anytime in the next few years. It is true though, that I haven't met anyone who was getting ready to deploy to Iraq or just getting back for a long time, which suggests(considering that that definitely wasn't the case a few years ago) that we are withdrawing there. While I don't follow the agenda of the person this was directed at, I will say that those two things definitely could be hoaxes. If you don't consider the possibility, you must have some direct experience that I don't, or a different set of criteria for proof.
