I am probably going to be visiting the Toronto / Wasaga Beach (Canada, that is) area around the end of March. I may wander to a few other places in North America, not sure yet. Anyone who would like to arrange for a chat/drink, feel free to PM me.

What time did you say you were coming? I think the Calgary Stampede is sometime around that time, but its on the other side of Canada. Worth the trip tho, with chicken and pig races, food, shows, food, and much more. Did i mention food?

    Ahem,

The stampede is usually in the early part of July. And it consists of much more than you describe. Ever been to the Stampede, Jade?? It kicks some major ass when you really think about it. The food is fairly good, and there's a lot to do.

I don't think your lying about the pig races, though. I seem to remember them. As a novelty of course...

Adam, I would not recommend coming to Canada in March unless you enjoy suffering. The only place thats marginally nice is Western BC. But come in the summer and your in for a treat.

I don't have the luxury of picking my time to go. I'm heading over for a friend's wedding, staying maybe a week, them coming home.

Already got a date for the wedding too.

Yeah, I am sure Adam will be absolutely astonished by how much parking space there is in Iowa.

I think we should encourage Adam to visit the Detroit-Windsor passages ... say around rush hour? You can see what it's like trying to cross borders in the "West" ... Not to mention it screw's up your lunch plans regularly ...

there's not THAT much parking space here...but, at least you can go somewhere and FIND a parking space..much unlike places like Chicago, Boston...etc. etc.. *done defending Iowa*

    oh... plus

we have chickens here that actually play tic-tac-toe for real money; i'll bet our riverboat gambling casinos are the only ones that can boast THAT!!
