    Mine seem like they're all over the place. The answer is I'm a workaholic and can average over 80 hours a week for months at a time before collapsing. Also, I move a lot and don't have much time to get back to see family and relatives much. But, I do love my work

    Incidentally, my wife took it, and she answered "don't know" to this one:

    I answered "strongly agree."

    The thing is we both agree life is meaningless. :bugeye:

    To answer that question affirmatively implies that you once did know what the purpose of life is.

    Well, I did think there was a purpose when I was younger...something mysterious, but that would make sense after I died and could look back?
    Now I just think life is its' own justification. Ultimately no purpose.

    I found myself answering "3 - I don't know or neutral" to everything. That was primarily due to the wording (i.e. a lot of "anymore" and "these days"). Most of these seemed to imply that I did know once upon a time.

    Then again, I came to terms with the objective "meaninglessness" of life a long time ago. It doesn't bother me. I actually find it liberating.

    Powerlessness = 14

    My scores seem perfectly logical in light of the upbringing I have experienced and the choices which I have consciously made.

    My thoughts on the cultural estrangement number is that I do not identify strongly with any one culture, yet find all cultures of interest and my values are a composite of many.

    Therefore, Me-Ki-Gal, as we share the same number in this category, may I suggest that you can be be loved by more people, rather than being limited to any one culture that one may strongly identify with?

    That's one way to look at things.

    Then again, do you suppose that by participating more on forums than in the three dimensional world that we may actually be contributing to our own alienation?

    Answer to that, probably.
    Alienation is increasing for sure, but there are worse problems than a malaise caused by isolation

    A Victorian man or women with ten children, living in a single room with four other families,
    probably would have liked a bit of it.
