Oh, I wasn't speaking to why I've become agnostic/atheist. There is an accumulation of reasons for that. Actually, a "miracle" could be used as evidence for a religion if it's shown that alternative natural explanations are impossible or unlikely.
Books and Religious scripture are some of the most misunderstood items in human creation and that is their purpose. To flat out deny there is a God is incredibly ignorant when the meaning of "God" is convoluted and as far as any of us know, apart from maybe the Pope, impossible to discern. The perception of an ideal be it a figure(s) or belief that holds a sense of purpose or reason is a perfect way of gathering the ignorants and intellectuals together alike and join the debate for the future of the world, there is a perfect future in many peoples eye's. However as an atheist you are a fucking renegade, an opt out, an amoeba, make a God damn religion of your own, leave your job, stop fueling a machine that you in no way support except to fund your selfish desires, freedom is a choice but lack of hope is less than human. I believe in a mix of spirituality and science, we are forever.
