    THE BEST ARGUEMENT ive heard... was not found here... but from christian zelots elsewhere...

    it goes..

    if we found a mountain of gold... gold would drop down to say.. 15 cents a ounce... and then the notes... become worthless.

    and that.. is a good arguement... and i thank that person.

    but... the FAITH notes... can be set to a value... in dollars.. and gold.. and platinum.. and copper.. and iron...

    so if any one of those commodities or currencies... drops into the toilet.
    its ok... because the note can still be used to buy the other commodities... or exchanged for currencies developed from any and all effort by Ecclesia or the world fed.

    and if gold became 15 cents an ounce... thats great. the golden age can begin, and we can all have gold plated toilets.

    IN FACT... as ive told the cia...
    we could tie the notes to dollars.... and in doing so... strenghten the dollar.
    but they, it seems... like many here... dont respond.

    but.. im sure they are watching.

    I tested your theory that giving out newly printed money "faith notes" with zero accepted valued and no reason to think they would ever be good for anything but toilet paper, would end poverty / hunger, etc. - I.e. offered a bum a 1000 Monopoly money note - he was not amused, more angry, but did not get up from his prone position on the street's sidewalk.

    You too could experiment - test your concept. What is stopping you? Don't you have a printer tied to your computer?

    How would "faith notes" differ from the leaves that fall from trees each fall? At least they (according to Joyce Kilmer) are made by God.

    "I think that I shall never see
    A poem lovely as a tree.

    A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
    Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast;

    A tree that looks at God all day,
    And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

    A tree that may in Summer wear
    A nest of robins in her hair;

    Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
    Who intimately lives with rain.

    Poems are made by fools like me,
    But only God can make a tree."

    The best government is the one that governs least. As we add more and more layers of government like city, county, state, national, hemisphere, world, there will become too many fingers in the pie. There will be too many chiefs and not enough braves. Tell me one thing any government does efficiently with resources. Why compound this inefficiency?

    The towns will tax, the county will tax, the state will tax, nations will tax, the hemisphere unions will tax and then world will want to tax. The working poor and middle class are screwed. The get to pay and get less back. It goes to rich and poor.

    If this was the ideal world, the leaders at each level would give more than they take. They would treat each tax dollar like it is a precious gift. But in the real world it is all about taking more than they give, since they need campaign money and a golden parachute. They need to divide the pie, with those who pay the most via campaign contribution.

    I would accept a world government with no power to tax. What that would mean is it can set guidelines, but will lack the ability to collect resources to enforce anything. Without money, it will not attract the crooks, but only well meaning volunteers.
