The catholic church accept evolution. I call that theistic evolution . . . All religions will eventually succumb to evolution, either that or die. You only have to look at some of the deistic beliefs around here to see this evolution is very much underway.

 

The Pope excludes the 'mind' from evolution.

The Pope is infallible.

Only if/when his infallibility is proclaimed with regard his statements. Not everything he mutters need be deemed as such.

The Catholics don't have any big problem with the idea of biological evolution.

 

Pontifical Academy of Sciences seems like one of the world's main religions looking to evolve. Do they also recognise the phenomenon called "social evolution"? I suppose the question is how much does the catholic church evolve actively, on a day to day basis?
