    The current possibilities of the scenario are between 9 and 9.87421 km/hr.....

    Cause who cares if it takes you 1.49999999999 hrs to reach 5 km if the current takes you back at light speed.

    E= total force= 8km/hr*5km/hr

    M= combined force= 8/5

    C^2= Our tangent distance over time squared= (x/1.5)^2

    Add total time to solved x because equivalence does not include that factor= 1.5 AT THE VERY END AFTER ALL MATH(S) HAS BEEN COMPLETED, as it is not a factor of equivalence and we have to actually travel somewheres.

    40=1.6(x/1.5)^2
    25=(x/1.5)^2
    5=x/1.5
    7.5=x
    1.5+7.5= 9km/hr

    Someone else can guess the other one. I can't just give away my secrets.
