I have read "Edgar Cayce" (a psychic) tell people to boil the skin of Irish potatos and drink the broth to alleviate many hair problems including thinning and graying. Obviously; this is a woo cure, but if I was suffering hair loss I bet I would at least try it. I eat potatoes anyways so there would be no cost. You could google this. I also have found decent home remedies on youtube as well. Nothing beats the opinion of a Medical Doctor on serious health matters, but a little potato skin broth likely couldn't hurt in addition to any medication. Obviously Rogain is the medical route, and would advise both with a bit of positive thinking thrown in. NOTE: It is hard to believe my woo post is also the first to mention Rogain (minoxidile is chemical name and noname brand name at pharmacy). Rogain can cost a fair price at $60+ per 750 ml bottle (I'm guessing a ballpark figure).
