Of course not. What God allows is free will. He gave us the ability to think and reason.

Free will has nothing to do with the ravages of nature, which, if you remotely believe God only punishes the guilty, remain the unsolved paradox.

Oh, aqueous. Why would you choose Pat Robertson?
He is not the spokesperson for Christians. I for one find his views repulsive and I'm Christian.
    Oh brother. :/

He is a nice guy , but he likes to bash Christianity , he also mixes up the timing the present withe past and uses as a club for bashing

Well...I wouldn't say all that. Aqueous is a kind man from what I've seen and I can see why he brought Pat Robertson into the equation. But truthfully, it just clutters up an otherwise potentially healthy discussion.

Not my place to judge PR, but his actions run counter to so much that Jesus taught His followers. So, to "use" him as an example of Christianity is just not going to incite healthy dialogue.

That's nonsense. If a team of special forces soldiers prevents an atrocity somewhere, they aren't taking away anyone's free will or ability to think or reason.

Interesting point. One might say that just because they're following orders does not give them the right to kill, however we might also say that the soldiers had no free will on the matter and God may judge them on that and their commander in chief.

Are you saying god doesn't have the power to prevent evil in such a way that preserves free will?

Your wrong there, evil is an energy you tap into. So if god created the universe, then god also created evil, or that force that we tap into we call evil when tuned into it.

Yep god does allow evil, but its there to allow the choice to see if you will follow light or dark.

    Is there consequences, whom knows?

This is why I never help poor people or come to the aid of people in emergencies. I don't want to violate their free will. They can think and reason, so their situation is all their fault.

Well, I guess this would be an example if you using your free will.

Did all the children and babies that God is shown to kill in the bible also have free will that God respected?

After all, their will would have been to live.

If God could ignore their free will and act against it, why not act against the free will of people doing evil?

Seems like God has a double moral standard just like most Christians do.

God does not simply kill in the way a killer kills. If He did so it would have been for a reason. But that would break a commandment. So unless you can prove that God kills then don't make assumptions or believe on a whim. God does not allow evil in any way whatsoever, so perhaps the individual in question that He killed were evil.

I thought the devil is responsible for all the sin, sickness, sorrow, suffering, crime, poverty and death on this earth. Why did god create the devil? What I was told as a child; God has reasons about which we know nothing.

LOL. God does not kill as we all do. How droll.

Show how any child or baby can be evil.

That is just how the church skips hard questions. God of the Gaps.

They say that God is unfathomable then quickly turn and tell you all that they fathom of the unfathomable.

    Lies IOW.

God did not create the Devil. Greatest I am is misinformed. God created angels, and it was the rebellious act of Lucifer that caused his casting out.

Why did God give his angels the desire to rebel and why did he reward Satan for his with dominion over the earth and the great power of being able to deceive the whole world.

Sounds like your God is either pleased with Satan and his friends or your God is insane for rewarding evil.

    Your choice.

He gave us free will and reason, yet in the bible (purportedly the word of God) it states that we will be subjected to an eternity of infernal torture if we choose to refuse him as our god. Why is this, if he allows free will, and reason? Why are we to be punished if we choose to commit "evil" deeds? What is considered "evil"?..
