This is my favorite. It's not a helmet, but it is still cool.

I see the admin and moderator staff still support the position that it is acceptable to allow mentally ill members to embarrass themselves publicly. Is that really such a good idea?

Well I'm so glad that you have access to unbiased, well-researched and intellectually stimulating material. If one of the shows you watch is Jon Stewart, then I'll apologize.
There's nothing wrong with your compositional skills, but you have trouble making your points.
His "name is related to..." What the hell is that supposed to mean? I myself am related to less than 1% of the people who share my surname (it's fairly common in Europe), but the name itself isn't "related" to anything. It's simply a word whose meaning is "a person from [a particular city in Germany]."
Huh? The U.S. economy made a complete turnaround from scarcity-driven to surplus-driven in the 1890s. The rest of the developed world did the same thing at about the same time, or at least by the middle of the 20th century. The modern industrial economy is barely one century old. The economic system of capitalism only goes back about 50 years before that, when the government created the fictional entity of the corporation, which was needed to provide the capital necessary for the gigantic projects that launched the Industrial Revolution, like steel mills and transcontinental railroads.
You still haven't made clear what is 500 years old. The USA is not quite 250 years old.
If you dislike this country so much, I can't help wondering why you stay here. These days it's easy enough to emigrate to most of the European nations. Latin America has very few obstacles to immigrants, especially those with American bank accounts. Australia, Thailand, Indonesia... there are lots of countries where you would be welcomed and treated with respect and would not feel terribly out of place.
Every map I've seen in the past fifty years clearly shows Greece. I traveled through the country in 1973, on my motorcycle trip through Europe, visiting my Esperanto pen pals.
What the heck is an "intense" population? That's a strange combination of adjective and noun, and you owe it to your readers to explain it.
Yes, most of the people who live there seem to be happy. What's your point? You can say the same thing about Italy, Scotland, Estonia, New Zealand, Canada, Bulgaria and ten or twenty other nations.
Who is this "we" you keep referring to? I've never seen a map of Europe that omitted Greece. Where do you buy your books???
Surely you don't expect anyone to answer that question in a couple of paragraphs! There are a thousand things wrong with the world, but there are also a thousand things right with it. And that list is different for every community, and indeed for every inhabitant.

Personally I think one of the major problems with the world is religion, which is a relic of our ancestors in the Bronze Age. Yet there are literally billions of people who think one of the world's major problems is not enough religion.
Last time I checked the roster, you were not on the list of Moderators. So I wonder what you mean by "high ranking." If perhaps you're referring to longevity, well I've been a member for 15 years.
Gosh, then you need to notify the administrators that they made a gigantic mistake when they appointed me as the Moderator of Linguistics.
You seem to consider yourself an intellectual, so why are you watching American television?
I get it: your entire post is a big joke. Or perhaps you're just stoned.

    Have a nice day.

A rogue poster has attempted to slander the United States of American by asserting one cannot find a decent cheese helmet, and the good people of the community are putting such calumny in its place.

Notice even cutting edge German engineers, as sophisticated as one can find, are finding their inspiration in USA cheese helmet technology: http://craziestgadgets.com/2010/06/08/helmet-reeks-of-cheese-when-you-fall/

Your second posting was "Sculptor, keep it up! With such remarks like this we have an actual thread!" That was no more worth replying to than your other posts.

Big government leads to too much government control and citizen dependency. Citizen dependency leads to being unable to think and act for oneself out of dependency and fear. If one cannot think for themselves, they can't filter out nonsense from sense. They depend on others to do this for them. These others don't just do it for them, but also will do it too them, blending nonsense with sense. This allows them to lead the herd down the chute so they can shear the sheep.

Picture a son who is very dependent on a domineering mother. She will do many things for him. Since he is not doing these things for himself, it makes it harder for him to be on his own. If he tries to leave, she may guilt trip or bully him to stay. Since she does so much for him, he senses the loss and consequences and may decide to stay. Once he is no longer wanting to leave, she can start telling him what to wear and who to hang with. But she does this, not because this is the best path for him being a free thinking man, but this is best for her; needs him to stay close and dutiful to her.

With smaller government, we have something like a lazy and very tolerant mother with a small reach and grip. The boys and girl are more eager to leave mom and go out on their own. They have already had to fend for themselves so going on their own is not as bad. They learn to adapt and think on their own. These sheep become much more scattered and feral to blind compliance, making it harder for them to be rounded with lures of nonsense, so they will walk down the chute to be sheared.

If you look at the black vote, they vote 90% for democrats, even though the blacks don't seem to gain any ground in terms of poverty and crime under democratic rule. They are easy to shear. The highest zones of black poverty and crime are in democrat controlled states and cities. Bog mother is making it worse, so they need her. The pitfall of big government is it does what it does, for itself, and not for the needs of the son to be free. How can one be free at last, while also being beholden and dependent on government? Free at last, is an island onto oneself.

This leads to the kids have parties with alcohol and drugs. The kids have sex and listen to rock and roll. The girls get pregnant and they neglect the babies. They all become hippies and communists

Actually, your assertion is wrong. If you look at the black poverty rates by state, 8 of the 12 worst states for black poverty are Republican states. Minnesota which has a Republican governor and legislature has the worst black poverty rate of 46%, quickly followed by Tennessee and Mississippi with 41% and 40% respectively. The four states with the lowest black poverty rates are Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware - all Democratic states. So to your assertion that Republican controlled states have lower black poverty rates just isn't borne out by the evidence.

Additionally, I have yet to meet even one Republican who can tell me in any meaningful terms what Republicans mean when the rail about "big government". Republicans like to rail about big government. It gets the crowds all stirred up. It's good red meat for the ditto heads. But that's about it.

That post was intended to be a good one. This thread will not be "derailed" by nitskulls such as yourself. My second large posting imho was quite good. You should try responding to that one.

I dunno, it seemed no less pointless than the first, to be honest...

As for this post... what, pray tell, is a nitskull...?

That seems like a pun. Just asking about the quality of posts, seems to me like a grand way to start a thread.

Seems like a portmanteau of nitwit and numbskull.

Oh, wait... you were being sarcastic. I'm such a numbwit.

That's just what the world thinks. They think that about every if and or but. But it don't matter.

100% of its population doesn't get it. It's a place, ran by the people, where people can't even inform themselves over such controversial matters.

The more apropos question is what’s with you? What makes you think “that” country is “in full economic collapse”? That country is the largest economy in the world and contrary to your assertion; it is far from economic collapse. Its currency is the strongest currency in the world. Its military is the strongest in the world. Its people are among the wealthiest in the world. Its standard of living is among the highest in the world. And contrary to your assertion, its economy is growing and has been growing for many years now.

Now how can anyone take you seriously when you make such bizarre claims which are so blatantly and demonstrably sheer fiction? The answer is no one can take you seriously, and appropriately so. You are just another in a long line of kooks who post bizarre fictions in the hope someone will take them seriously. You have no evidence, you have no reason. Ignorance isn’t a substitute for rational thought.
