I'm terribly bad at waking up in the morning, now I have an app that I set 2 alarms with, one at 7:40 another at 8am. What about you guys/girls? I really wanna wake up earlier to workout but feel miserable if I do, maybe I just need to do it awhile? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I had my own business which was open 7/24/365 because I did emergency plumbing/electrical repairs and had to be ready to work at any given moment if the phone rang and someone needed me.
I are you up until 1:38am, and expecting to wake up feeling good? You might need more than 5 hours of sleep.
When I was young, I was very much a night person. But now that I'm retirement age, I find myself awakening naturally at or even before sunrise.
I have insomnia until 3:00 am and so I have to sleep until around 10:00 am. Sometimes you may not know you didn't get enough sleep. But it hits you later in the day. It depends on the quality of sleep you got. Drinking and stress and eating late can cause restless sleep. Ever try to sleep the night before you travel? Forget it. You will have to catch up on the plane.
Nightime! There are too many people in the daytime. People means stress, mess, comotion and rudeness. The night is peace.
As is the early morning, while the drunks are asleep and most birds are still sort of quiet. About an hour before dawn, like a farmer. I'm just built that way, I guess. I've found that I do my best work on jobs I "sleep on" and wake with all my procedures and steps lined up, and after a coffee or two the morning just rips by. After about 6 hours of push, I switch to glide, and plan tomorrow. Hell, I'm getting old and 6 hours is pretty good. I can still outwork some of the young'uns around me. Been a nightperson for the major part of my life. I only get up before noon if I am forced to by outer forces soon to be eliminated.
I'm the type that can get up in the morning and be out the door in 10 min. (My wife and daughter on the other hand...)
