A bit late for Valentines, but I here's nice read from Harvard Medical School site, explaining the meaning of love and its importance. According to the source, most of us, even those disciplined to interpret the world through the lens of evidence–based science, can’t help but imagine love as a ghost in the machine. But the scientific evidence is unmistakable: Whatever this thing called love is, we humans need it. Deep attachments to others—and the pleasure–center stimulation those links cause—are as vital to our bodies and minds as food and sleep. Their absence carries catastrophic risk to our health and well–being. https://hms.harvard.edu/news/harvard-medicine/look-love
Not all things that are real are visible to the naked eye or can only be 'felt', experienced or demonstrated. Thought is real yet science has no problem grasping that or debate it, do they? You cant touch, see, or feel it either. You can argue, its even less so. It can be as fleeting as footprints in the sky with no after-effects or resonance as love does if its never put into action, like it doesnt even exist. Babies can be given physical sustenance but devoid of love, they do not thrive or even die. Science cant nail this down to any particular objective reason.
I believe love is BETWEEN the people, not within them. When there is love between the people society ADVANCES. "...They opened the gates, and I watched him walk right through."-Walking in Mephis. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
