    Spellbound,

Thank you very much for referring to the extremely interesting website of Eternea:

    https://www.eternea.org/Default.aspx

I am wondering whether there is a sceptics who has really studied this website and still insists that consciousness is only produced by the brain?

Looks asinine. Just like everything posted by Spellbound. Consciousness is a function of the brain, and we know this, because when the brain is damaged, we lose aspects of our selves, our personality, our memories, skills, etc.

You are welcome. There are more websites devoted to the proof of non-local consciousness. Simply Google "thought existing outside of brain" and you will find a whole slew of articles that go further into this such as: http://www.collective-evolution.com...s-a-product-of-the-brain-or-a-receiver-of-it/.

Here is another long video from a conference about "Past Lives, Hypnosis and Psychic Phenomena" in Perth:

I want to use this video mainly as an example for the blindness of skeptics. At this video after 1 hour and 5 minutes there is a report about an interesting experiment which took place at the Imperial College in London University a long time ago:
During a meeting someone claimed he could levitate a vase. People were interested to see it. He asked the people to help him by loud chanting and really the vase levitated after a while. Of course this experiment was a fake. Underneath the table was an electromagnetic device, which did the work. The chanting was needed in order to mask its noise. But the interesting thing was, that there were some skeptics who claimed afterwards that they have not seen any levitation! People don't see what they don't want to see. This is unfortunately the case with fanatic skeptics and with all other kind of fanatics.

So let's not be skeptical because someone didn't see something? You're not being rational, so get over it.

To manifest and therefore to exist. Why though ?

Because thats what life does ; life Naturally wants to manifest ; exist . Under extreme circumstances . Cold and Hot environments. And does .

But why ; life is in all atoms and sub-atomic particles .

The purpose of life ; life is not purpose ; but an ability.

Life is primitive ; for life forms that cannot be more than what they are ; the Bear , Wolf , lion , Giraffe, Buffalo, Birds etc.

We Humans can think , imagine , build .

Hence the concept : that is life ; is nonsense.

We can change our destiny ; Humanity thinks .

You chose an odd assortment of animals to make your point. Hopefully, you understand that every creature has its own level of intelligence, which affects its ability to contemplate the mysteries of life.

Bears and wolves, in particular, are highly intelligent. Unfortunately, unlike the primates, they don't have prehensile fingers so they can't learn to "speak" to us in sign language. Nonetheless, they've been caught doing things that imply a fairly advanced intellect. For example, more than one writer, in telling readers how to survive in the wilderness, says that the way to maximize your chance of surviving an encounter with a bear is to drop to the ground, avoid looking him in the eye, and make pathetic whimpering noises to let him know that you regard him as your superior and you're begging for his mercy.
We're hardly the only species that can do those things. If you've ever had a parrot, you've probably been surprised at least once a week. Our blue-and-gold macaw (Ara ararauna) figured out how to dismantle her cage from the inside. Then when we "fooled" her by replacing all the bolts with left-hand threads, it took her about one hour to get out.

But, of course, the most intelligent land animals are, indeed, the primates. The Great Apes (humans, gorillas, chimpanzees and orangutans) perform feats that surprise us; and, as already noted, at least two species (one of the gorillas and one of the chimpanzees--sorry if I don't know which ones) have learned to communicate with humans in American Sign Language and have vocabularies beyond the one-thousand mark.

We know that the cetaceans (whales and dolphins) are also highly intelligent, but since we haven't been able to decode the sounds they make, we can't be certain that they have language.

The purpose of life is life: Reproduction. Personally, I am more interested in the means to the end.

Before my mother died we talked a lot about the purpose of life. So I told her I had found it and sent it to her.

When she received it I immediately received a phone call explaining that she said "purpose", not "porpoise"!

Oh? I thought it was common knowledge that people in New Jersey speak like Bugs Bunny, i.e. they call it Noo Joisey. And thus, they would pronounce purpose and porpoise more or less identically. But I'm a Brit so I may have this quite wrong.

Eeeeeesh, I need someone in GB to explain a Joirsey accent to me. And you guys don't even speak English! You put your luggage in a boot, and go apples and pears instead of upstairs.

Anyway, yes, the porpoise of life...

: insert magical segue here! :

A few years ago, I went to my company Hallowe'en party carrying a two piece suit on a hanger. That was my whole costume.

The legs on the pants were joined into a single trunk, the sleeves on the jacket were only six inches long, and a short slit was cut into the back of the jacket.

When people stopped to ask me about it, I'd shrug and say ...

It's not much. But it suits my porpoise.

We live to be a good example to others. Not only to exist but to live it to the fullest and make it worth while.
