My brother works in a textile company and the machine they are using is not working. The technician said it requires a qube encoder. Any recommendation as to where I can get this item?

Qube incremental encoders can boost system speeds and are designed to measuring cut to lenght in a textile company. There are actually several models available online. You must be aware of its specifications and configuration options. You could research also about companies who offer the most comprehensive encoder selection in the industry. Perhaps, Sculptor could have a point there. You may start looking for dynapar online. It could be one option.

In the olden days, when the qube encoder packed it in we used to replace it with a penny.

Thanks for the suggestion. Checked Dynapar out and yes, they offer a lot (from vectors to various encoders).

Thanks for all your responses. the thing with encoder is, when something goes wrong, an urgent repair is needed because it really affects the operation.
