Life is grand let's keep our noses out of genetically modifying food and start the march towards "DNA dining". yes food menus with food made for our type. Similar to that 90's fad of eating right for your type, just a little better than that. I dream of a day when all doctors have gene testing machines like these that are now almost a reality. They take this DNA profile and send it to the health care system who set's up the database file which is represented by a bar-code. When we go out to a restaurant, and the waiter wheels out a laptop and laser printer. You hand them your health card, the waiter scans the card and prints out a custom menu and hands back the menu with your card. You choose something, and tell the waiter, number four please.

I'm afraid I don't quite follow what you are trying to say in your post. What is this 'custom menu'? What is unique about the custom menu that seperates it from a 'normal' menu. What is the health card for and why is it needed. When you say 'DNA profile' are talking about the profile of the consumer or the profile of the food. Please be specific. Thank you. DE

DNA profiles are what you get from a spit or blood sample. In my system, this profile is uploaded to the health server. Service Ontario then puts this profile on your health card represented by a bar code. Now your health card has a DNA profile that can be used to create a menu specifically for you.

I believe food is not necessary based on DNA but on essential amino acids needed minerals and carbohydrates and essential fats.

Since we are all the same species, what specific food needs would an individual have? Allergies? Gluten sensitivity? Low calorie? Surely if you know about these, you can make your own choices.

I have done a DNA test kit and found out my family line is clear of all things such as cancer etc. but I am sensitive to spices and fish and eggs but that didn't come from DNA tests that's my experience I mean I am 49 in a week now, so I do know what makes me tick. I just wonder how I may be able to use this info to bring out a system that comes in from a DNA blood test. I haven't done that just a blood test to find out how I am doing. And I am fine thankfully. My Dad is 70 my Mom is 69 and I'm 49 soon. I am grateful to have my parents alive and find out they too are disease free. Although arthritis has seeped in for my Mom in her toes that were crushed by a horse she was petting that stepped forward and yikes.

I am Millionaire and pay for everything I need and use. I have a sports car collection going into my sports car museum. I have about 500 arcade machines from the 40's 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's. I am planning on building a massive arcade with a massive 100+ game interactive arcade museum and over 35 other forms of fun. That's me Mr Fun doing my part making life better and I don't make you pay for playing the games, they are all free. If you live in Toronto I have arcades in the malls go to the Eaton's Centre and play some arcade games for free.

The free meal gene surfaces again. Call the gene surgeon.
On the other hand maybe the free meal gene is society.

I'm curious about your business plan. How does one monetize free games?

I shouldn't be saying this as it's a trade secret, but think about how TV is free.

Yes, we can, but wouldn't it be nice to have a system in place to help us? Not everyone can make decisions for health related things. Most people rely on their Doctor to prescribe medication which is sometimes not compatible with sugars or bad LDL Cholesterol. Of course, we smart folks can administer things but even I choose the wrong foods. Such as me yesterday at a restaurant, I chose the burger with cheese and bacon. And I have a cholesterol problem. I know beef has the wrong LDL Cholesterol so does bacon and so does cheese. There I was eating cholesterol and loving it. If it was a custom menu I wouldn't see the burger on my menu.

Well, it most definitely isn't, but I take your point nonetheless.

I prefer that the choice of whether to eat healthy or not be mine to make, not the restaurant's.

I hear you, DNA dining may just fall by the wayside there aren't many who like change and well change is usually good. Back in the 70's people thought computers were bad and evil, and that IBM was the evil empire and Microsft was evil and Bill Gates the antichrist. In hindsight, they are all just businesses making stuff for the world to use. Windows is still bogus and Apple is now making consumer electronics with planned obsolescence. I'm on my third iPod nano in 3 years. My Dad has an original brick iPod and it still works fine.

Okay so it's not a secret but no one else is doing it. And I don't patent stuff. Not that I could patent a way of doing something.
