Coming in to today, the striking thing about 538's (and everybody else's) projections was how few states were really in play - the odds were 75/25 or wider for 43 of the fifty states. There are a lot more nailbiters - regardless of outcome - than was implied. Give Nate credit, though - he posted surprisingly high chance of Clinton winning the electoral vote and losing the popular vote. That implies narrow wins, however secure.
I'm kind of surprised the Dems were counting on Wisconsin - or, I guess, not really surprised by anything in the way of cluelessness from that crowd, but as a neighbor of Wisconsin I sort of assumed it would lean Republican in anyone's assessment. Michigan and Wisconsin would be my initial nominations for checking out actual vote fraud, btw, starting with the raw data of the exit polls - as opposed to voter suppression in North Carolina and Florida and the like, which has more or less been slapped in our faces openly. Of course the Dems have been wrongfooted badly on this, spending the past few months mocking the Republican charges without apparently twigging to the standard pattern of such bogus accusations so well established now by that Party. But it's still worth taking a look at imho, depending on the exit polls.
it appears that the time had come . . . today is the day America apparently decided to burn it all down. fucking terrifying
