Only if you are as brave as you are foolish. Even a rock is faster than the most runners. Could even be the rock you crawled out from under.

That's a great idea! You do mean, of course, the one where armed students stopped a berserk student in W. VA.

You don't? You want to exploit Columbine like Roger Moore?

Has it ever occurred that the terrible state of our schools run by collectivist unionized teachers is responsible for driving kids mad and if they can't get a gun they will make a bomb or molotov cocktail, pour gasoline on someone, do anything, get anything (even `illegal devices') to vent their rage?

I'll bet you are a Moore-man. Not to be confused with Mormon those fine folk from Utah. No, the porcine* professional sour-grapes whine maker who managed to get booed off the stage even in Left California. Of course he quickly recovered, claims it boosted sales, and money is his full and only concern.

(*really shouldn't insult pigs that way)

    This link also has a t-shirt ...

    Kick their ass ,
    Take their Gas

Sort of sums up the mentality of these folks . When the events of 9-11 are considered , even at this stage of cover up and complicity by the Bush administration , the stench is overwhelming . The invasions of yet to be announced countries under the premise of "freedom" is a blatent fabrication in pursuit for power .

All that America stood for , all that was endured for true freedom ...is thrown aside now to attain profit and power .

Ultilize sophistry to your hearts content to obfuscate the real reasons for murder , theft and subjugation of entire peoples ...only fools and the uninformed will follow .

    Abnak;

I reluctantly supported Bush's action in Iraq, thinking that
    • Saddam sponsored and condoned murderous* acts against the US. I did not think him directly but at least indirectly responsible for 9/11
    • Saddam, were he truly concerned for his people would have abdicated however personally wronged he may have felt
    • Iraqi's were living in terror of Saddam and his lieutenants
      [/list=a]

If you have information that this was wrong please share it. I for one have much sympathy for the Arabic people and their historical abuse by foreign powers (Balfour Accord, etc)

I am serious, if you have real knowledge share it. Many of us, including Jerrek are not as close-minded as you may believe.

*I choose murderous over terrorist as the latter is too frequently judgmental, one man's terrorist is another man's patriot.

It is agreed that Saddam secured and maintained his power structure through fear and torture . Don't equate disagreeing with the Bush administration with supporting the previous Iraqi regime .

The pretext for invading other countries to secure for them their "freedom" is farcical . If we were to apply this type of reasoning to other parts of the world and even to ourselves ...the hypocrisy would be apparent , even to the unintelligent . Think about all the military dictatorships we basically installed in Central and South America . Death squads , torture ...

How about Bush's dad pardoning Orlando Bosch , an addmitted terrorist and mass murderer of innocents ! Lets lock the old man up for being a terrrorist collaborator !

As for your statement : "Saddam sponsored and condoned murderous acts against the US. (Saddam was) indirectly responsible for 9/11 " No credible documentation exists to support this statement . Instead the available "essays" read like long-winded Mossad fiction novels . Gullibility is cultivated by deception .

    1. Do NOT equate supporting the Bush administration( 's actions in Iraq with supporting all administration actions.
    2. This does not compute do you consider our actions in WWII for example "farcical" if so I DO have a problem with your thinking.
    3. On this point I totally agree, our foreign policy has been a shambles for years going back to FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, etc., etc. Reagan was the only one who scored any points for us and freedom.
    4. Don't know on this one will research and get back to you
    5. Saddam's own words are good enough for me.
    6. I do not disagree with your anti-Zionism but I DO feel you are not thinking beyond your pain which can cause bad conclusions. Fact is, the influence of Israel may diminish as a result of pacifying Iraq (and Iran?). that may be wishful thinking; the Zionists have much support and power in the United States because of people who think of themselves as Jew first and American second at best. They too, however, can be considered to be acting out of pain as there has been much inflicted on all sides.
