Second day now, every time I go away, even for a minute, I have to log in all over again. This has never happened before: when I checked the 'stay logged in' box, I could look in every couple of hours, whenever I need a break from work, which was very convenient . This is kind of a pain in the ass. Anyone have a solution? A hint, even?
There was some weird thing awhile ago (?) clicking "home" link would log you out. I think the site had been refreshing itself (?) other than that.
There is something weird in how the site links to itself; I've never figured out why some Sciforums links open pages with the user logged out. As a matter of routine I open another tab and check, and I'm usually still logged in. It's one of any number of software issues that arose mysteriously over time, and have never learned what's up with it. The only seemingly consistent aspect I can suggest is that it happens more with raw links than embedded. I don't recall it happening with embedded links, but neither will I stand on that memory as absolute.
